TL;DR: A new class of oxovanadium(IV) complexes with Schiff bases derived by the condensation of 5-(phenyl/substituted phenyl)-2-hydrazino-1,3,4-thiadiazoles and indoline-2,3-dione have been prepared in ethanol in the presence of sodium acetate and have higher antimicrobial effect than free ligands.

TL;DR: When the freshwater snail Lymnaea acuminata was exposed to sub-lethal doses of carbaryl, fecundity was significantly reduced and even stopped at higher sub- lethal doses and altered metabolic activity in the body tissue of the snail was observed.

TL;DR: In this paper, three transition metal perchlorate complexes of general formula [M(dah)2)](ClO4)2 (where M = Zn, Cu, and Ni; dah = 1,6-diaminohexane) have been prepared, and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy (IR), and gravimetric method.
Abstract: Three transition metal perchlorate complexes of general formula [M(dah)2)](ClO4)2 (where M = Zn, Cu, and Ni; dah = 1,6-diaminohexane) have been prepared, and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy (IR), and gravimetric method. The thermal decomposition has been studied by thermogravimetry (TG), differential thermal analysis (DTA), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Kinetics parameters of their thermolysis were evaluated by model-fitting and isoconversional methods using isothermal TG data. Model-fitting method has given the single value of activation energy (E) whereas; isoconversional method yields a series of E values which vary with the extent of conversion. Further ignition delay of these complexes was measured to see the response toward rapid heating with varying amounts. The thermal stability of the complexes decreases in the order as: [Zn(dah)2)](ClO4)2 > [Cu(dah)2)](ClO4)2 > [Ni(dah)2)](ClO4)2

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the same model in the presence of string fluid as a source of matter and obtained the three types of exact solutions of Einstein's field equations, i.e., f(x)k(t), g(x )ell(t)$ and h(x)-ell (t)$.
Abstract: Cylindrically symmetric inhomogeneous string cosmological models are investigated in presence of string fluid as a source of matter. To get the three types of exact solutions of Einstein's field equations we assume $A = f(x)k(t)$, $B = g(x)\ell(t)$ and $C = h(x)\ell(t)$. Some physical and geometric aspects of the models are discussed.

TL;DR: In this article, the phase diagram of the benzamide + o-chlorobenzoic acid system has been studied by the thaw−melt method, and results show the formation of a simple eutectic mixture.
Abstract: The phase diagram of the benzamide + o-chlorobenzoic acid system has been studied by the thaw−melt method, and results show the formation of a simple eutectic mixture. Values of enthalpies of fusion of pure components and the eutectic mixture were determined from DSC studies. Excess Gibb’s energy (GE), excess enthalpy (HE), and excess entropy (SE) of mixing of pre-, post-, and the eutectic mixture were also calculated using activity coefficient data. Linear velocities of solidification of pure components and the eutectic mixture were determined at different undercooling rates. The values of the excess thermodynamic functions, linear velocity of crystallization, and ab initio calculations indicate the nonideal nature of the eutectic mixture in the melt. The anisotropic and instantaneous crystallizations of benzamide, o-chlorobenzoic acid, and the eutectic mixture were studied. The flexural strengths of the pure components and the eutectic mixture were also measured.
