Abstract: Purpose. Development of formalized description of automatic block system of numerical code based on the analysis of characteristic failures of automatic block system and procedure of its maintenance. Methodology. For this research a theoretical and analytical methods have been used. Findings. Typical failures of the automatic block systems were analyzed, as well as basic reasons of failure occur were found out. It was determined that majority of failures occurs due to defects of the maintenance system. Advantages and disadvantages of the current service technology of automatic block system were analyzed. Works that can be automatized by means of technical diagnostics were found out. Formal description of the numerical code of automatic block system as a graph in the state space of the system was carried out. Originality. The state graph of the numerical code of automatic block system that takes into account gradual transition from the serviceable condition to the loss of efficiency was offered. That allows selecting diagnostic information according to attributes and increasing the effectiveness of recovery operations in the case of a malfunction. Practical value. The obtained results of analysis and proposed the state graph can be used as the basis for the development of new means of diagnosing devices for automatic block system, which in turn will improve the efficiency and service of automatic block system devices in general.

Abstract: Purpose. This paper is a study of innovative methods of learning and teaching English with the help of Internet resources and students motivation to seek the necessary information at homework. Methodology. The main principle of the Web-Quest as a type of English language teaching is to motivate students. For example, by participation in the Web-Quest students, who were unsure of their knowledge, become more confident. Having clear goals and objectives, using computer skills, motivated young people more actively acts as a confident user of English. Findings. According to the technology of We-Quests students were asked to create one or more projects directly related to the successful execution of the work. It is a significant result of all the hard work of students, and it is the subject of evaluation. Evaluation is an essential component of Web-Quest or any other project, and from this point of view, the criteria should be clear and accessible to students from the very beginning. These instructions can and should be changed in order to differentiate and provide an oral presentation and written work. Originality . Basically, Web-Quests are mini-projects in which a higher percentage of the material obtained from the Internet. They can be created by teachers or students, depending on the type of training work. The author detailed the increase of possibilities in the search of Internet projects with other creative types of student work. They may include: review of the literature, essay writing, discussion of read works and other. Practical value. The paper confirmed that the roles and tasks, reflecting the real world, invites to cooperate, stimulate and train the thinking process at a higher level. That is why the use of Web-Quests can improve the language skills of the educational process (reading for information extraction, detailed reading, negotiations, oral and written communication, and other).

Abstract: Цель. Компьютеризация и информатизация в последние десятилетия подарила человечеству автоматизированные системы управления электронным документооборотом, технологическими процессами на производстве, Интернет и сеть информационных ресурсов WWW, расширила коммуникационные возможности и привела к глобализации информационного общества. В то же время процессы информатизации рождают ряд философско-антропологических проблем, которые приобретают экзистенциональный характер. В исследовании необходимо провести выявление и осмысление этих проблем на основе формирования гносеологической модели эволюции парадигм информатизации и определения их главных системообразующих характеристик. Методика. В работе использовался системно-деятельностный подход, который позволил выявить и проанализировать влияние основных компонентов информационно-коммуникационных технологий (ИКомТ) на образовательную деятельность. И далее – представить их как единую систему человеческой деятельности в условиях компьютери-зации/информатизации. В работе использовались философские принципы: всестороннего рассмотрения предмета, единства логического и исторического, восхождения от абстрактного к конкретному. Применялись общенаучные принципы: системного единства и развития, декомпозиции и иерархичности, индивидуализации и кооперации, многообразия и таксономии. Результаты. Автором предложена гносеологическая трёхэтапная модель эволюции парадигм компьютеризации/информатизации, которая опирается на три системные характеристики процессов информатизации: быстродействие, интерфейс, доступ к данным. Для каждой парадигмы предложена семизвенная антропоцентрическая модель, названная архитектурой информационной системы (АИС), описывающая изменения их видов обеспечения. Для каждого из этапов трансформации современного информационного общества сформулированы философско-антропологические проблемы, негативно влияющие на его развитие. Научная новизна. Предложена гносеологическая модель развития процессов информатизации в виде трёх парадигм, которые описываются тремя характеристиками. Для описания каждой парадигмы используется усовершенствованная антропоцентри-ческая модель АИС . Сформулированы и раскрыты особенности философско-антропологических проблем, которые несут в себе новые ИКомТ. Практическая значимость. Пред-ложенная модель эволюции парадигм информационного общества и знание сопутствующих проблем позволят уменьшить влияние негативных тенденций в развитии глобального информационного общества, в первую очередь, в сфере образования и в научно-исследовательской деятельности.

Abstract: Purpose . The article describes the most common methods for determining the locomotive traction force. Solving the tasks of traction calculations involves determination of the forces influencing the train at every point of the way. When choosing a rational trajectory of the train motion and the development of operational regulations of train driving it is necessary to determine the actual value of the locomotive traction force. Considering various factors, power value of traction electric motor of locomotive may have significant differences. Advancement of the operational definition system of the locomotive traction force during the calculations by electrical parameters of traction electric motor with regard to uneven load of wheel-motor block is the purpose of the article. Methodology . The method of determining the traction force of locomotives and diesel locomotives with electric transmission, which is based on primary data acquisition of traction electric engines of direct current behavior, was proposed. Sensors and their integration into the electrical circuitry of the locomotive in order to get the data in digital form and for operational calculation of the each traction motor mode and the definition of locomotive traction force are presented. Findings. The experimental investigation of the system of locomotive traction force determination with the electric traction motor ED-105 was offered. A comparison of electrical and mechanical power of the electric motor was conducted. Originality . The system of locomotives power operational definition, which takes into account the variable electro-mechanical factors of wheel and motor blocks and increases the accuracy of the calculations, was proposed. Practical value. The system is a part of an onboard complex in definition of energy-efficient regimes for trains movement and provides the definition of accelerating and decelerating forces.

Abstract: Purpose. In difficult economic conditions, cost reduction of electricity consumption for the needs of production is an urgent task for the country’s industrial enterprises. Technical specifications of enterprises, which repair diesel locomotive hydraulic transmission, recommend conducting a certain amount of evaluation and regulatory tests to monitor their condition after repair. Experience shows that a significant portion of hydraulic transmission defects is revealed by bench tests. The advantages of bench tests include the ability to detect defects after repair, ease of maintenance of the hydraulic transmission and relatively low labour intensity for eliminating defects. The quality of these tests results in the transmission resource and its efficiency. Improvement of the technology of plant post-repairs hydraulic tests in order to reduce electricity consumption while testing. Methodology. The possible options for hydraulic transmission test bench improvement were analysed. There was proposed an energy efficiency method for diesel locomotive hydraulic transmission testing in locomotive repair plant environment. This is achieved by installing additional drive motor which receives power from the load generator. Findings. Based on the conducted analysis the necessity of improving the plant stand testing of hydraulic transmission was proved. The variants of the stand modernization were examined. The test stand modernization analysis was conducted. Originality. The possibility of using electric power load generator to power the stand electric drive motor or the additional drive motor was theoretically substantiated. Practical value. A variant of hydraulic transmission test stand based on the mutual load method was proposed. Using this method increases the hydraulic transmission load range and power consumption by stand remains unchanged. The additional drive motor will increase the speed of the input shaft that in its turn wil allow testing in closer to real conditions as a result of increased load on the hydraulic transmission. Increased load on the hydraulic transmission will help to detect possible defects and hence will improve the quality of transmission repairs.
