TL;DR: In this article, the feasibility of developing MH/SF composite fibrous matrices as antimicrobial wound dressing was investigated and the results indicated that MH was successfully loaded into the electrospun silk fibroin (SF) fibers and the composite fibers showed smooth morphology and their diameter increases with MH content increased.

TL;DR: This cross-electrophile coupling protocol utilizes a chiral nickel/BiOx system as well as a pendant chelating group to facilitate the challenging three-component, asymmetric difunctionalization of unactivated alkenes, providing direct access to valuable chiral β-fluoroalkyl arylalkanes with high efficiency and excellent enantioselectivity.
Abstract: A nickel-catalyzed, enantioselective, three-component fluoroalkylarylation of unactivated alkenes with aryl halides and perfluoroalkyl iodides has been described. This cross-electrophile coupling protocol utilizes a chiral nickel/BiOx system as well as a pendant chelating group to facilitate the challenging three-component, asymmetric difunctionalization of unactivated alkenes, providing direct access to valuable chiral β-fluoroalkyl arylalkanes with high efficiency and excellent enantioselectivity. The mild conditions allow for a broad substrate scope as well as good functional group toleration.

TL;DR: This study proved that it is possible to improve the performance of TENGs using composite materials.
Abstract: We developed a book-shaped triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) that consists of electrospun polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate) (PHBV) nanofibers to effectively harvest mechanical energy. The dispersed graphene oxide in the PVDF nanofibers acts as charge trapping sites, which increased the interface for charge storage as well as the output performance of the TENG. The book-shaped TENG was used as a direct power source to drive small electronics such as LED bulbs. This study proved that it is possible to improve the performance of TENGs using composite materials.

TL;DR: In this paper, the modified Lindstedt-Poincare method is applied to the nonlinear oscillators with discontinuities and only one iteration leads to high accuracy of the solution.
Abstract: In the paper, J.H. He's modified Lindstedt–Poincare method is applied to the nonlinear oscillators with discontinuities. Only one iteration leads to high accuracy of the solution.
