TL;DR: In this article, an effective and general strategy is developed to prepare a multifunctional and mechanically compliant skin-like sensor by incorporating a 3D printed thermo-responsive hydrogel into a capacitor circuit.
Abstract: An effective and general strategy is developed to prepare a multifunctional and mechanically compliant skin-like sensor by incorporating a 3D printed thermo-responsive hydrogel into a capacitor circuit. The prepared intelligent skin shows a sensitive and stable capacitance–temperature response, and also exhibits very high pressure sensitivity within 1 kPa, allowing it to sense body temperature, gentle finger touches and finger bending motion. This work not only demonstrates that stimuli-responsive hydrogels are promising candidates for artificially intelligent skins, but might also enrich the design of skin-like sensors for future artificial intelligence, wearable devices and human/machine interaction applications.

TL;DR: A model for task scheduling is formulated and a particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm which is based on small position value rule is proposed which proves that the PSO algorithm is more suitable to cloud computing.
Abstract: Cloud computing is an emerging technology and it allows users to pay as you need and has the high performance. Cloud computing is a heterogeneous system as well and it holds large amount of application data. In the process of scheduling some intensive data or computing an intensive application, it is acknowledged that optimizing the transferring and processing time is crucial to an application program. In this paper in order to minimize the cost of the processing we formulate a model for task scheduling and propose a particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm which is based on small position value rule. By virtue of comparing PSO algorithm with the PSO algorithm embedded in crossover and mutation and in the local research, the experiment results show the PSO algorithm not only converges faster but also runs faster than the other two algorithms in a large scale. The experiment results prove that the PSO algorithm is more suitable to cloud computing.

TL;DR: In this review, different results on the fabrication of PCL for specific field of tissue engineering, tissue engineering incorporated in different PCL, surface modifications, blending with other polymers and their micro-porous structure are represented in brief outcomes.
Abstract: Biodegradable polymers have been used in biomedical applications generally, and in tissue engineering especially, due to good physical and biological properties. Poly-epsilon- caprolactone (PCL) is a one of biodegradable polymers, which has a long time of degradation. But the mechanical properties, biodegradability and biocompatibility of the pure PCL cannot meet up with the requirement for some of the biomedical applications such as bone tissue engineering, for that many researches have established to focus on the modification of the PCL. In this review, different results on the fabrication of PCL for specific field of tissue engineering, tissue engineering incorporated in different PCL, surface modifications, blending with other polymers and their micro-porous structure are represented in brief outcomes. In addition dissolution of PCL in different organic solvents and the effect on their properties was attainable. Moreover, the physical and biological properties of PCL for different type of tissue engineering applications (hard and soft tissue) are obtainable.

TL;DR: New insight is provided into constructing highly efficient ternary OPVs with well compatible Y6 and its derivative as acceptor and the JSC and FF improvement of ternARY OPVs should be ascribed to comprehensively optimal photon harvesting, exciton dissociation and charge transport in Ternary active layers.
Abstract: A series of ternary organic photovoltaics (OPVs) are fabricated with one wide bandgap polymer D18-Cl as donor, and well compatible Y6 and Y6-1O as acceptor. The open-circuit-voltage (VOC ) of ternary OPVs is monotonously increased along with the incorporation of Y6-1O, indicating that the alloy state should be formed between Y6 and Y6-1O due to their excellent compatibility. The energy loss can be minimized by incorporating Y6-1O, leading to the VOC improvement of ternary OPVs. By finely adjusting the Y6-1O content, a power conversion efficiency of 17.91% is achieved in the optimal ternary OPVs with 30 wt% Y6-1O in acceptors, resulting from synchronously improved short-circuit-current density (JSC ) of 25.87 mA cm-2, fill factor (FF) of 76.92% and VOC of 0.900 V in comparison with those of D18-Cl : Y6 binary OPVs. The JSC and FF improvement of ternary OPVs should be ascribed to comprehensively optimal photon harvesting, exciton dissociation and charge transport in ternary active layers. The more efficient charge separation and transport process in ternary active layers can be confirmed by the magneto-photocurrent and impedance spectroscopy experimental results, respectively. This work provides new insight into constructing highly efficient ternary OPVs with well compatible Y6 and its derivative as acceptor.
