TL;DR: In this paper, a radial fan with an impeller (100) and a cylindrical drive unit (200) that can be rotated around the longitudinal axis is described, where the impeller consists of a baseplate and of blades arranged on the baseplate, and where the blades are located on the side facing the main air flow.
Abstract: The invention relates to a radial fan with an impeller (100) and a cylindrical drive unit (200) that can be rotated around the longitudinal axis, whereby the impeller (100) consists of a baseplate and of blades (101) arranged on the baseplate, and whereby the blades are located on the side facing the main air flow, and it is characterized in that the impeller (100) can be operatively connected to the drive unit (200) in two fastening planes. The impeller consists of a baseplate and blades arranged on the baseplate, whereby the blades are located on the side of the baseplate facing the main air flow, and whereby the baseplate is made up of an upper shell located on the side facing the main air flow and of a lower shell located on the side facing away from the main air flow, whereby the upper shell and the lower shell form a closed cavity with the cylindrical drive unit when in the installed state, whereby a first fastening plane is located on the upper shell and a second fastening plane is located on the lower shell.

TL;DR: In this article, a brushless DC motor consisting of an engine electronics, a signal input or a signal output and an optical coupler is used for galvanically isolated transmission of a useful signal between the engine control and the signal input and the output of the optocoupler.
Abstract: In a brushless DC motor (1) comprising an engine electronics, a signal input or a signal output and an optical coupler (5) for the galvanically isolated transmission of a useful signal between the engine control and the signal input or the signal output, to determine the degradation of the optocoupler (5) reliably and the lifetime of the EC motor (1) can be improved. This is achieved in that an evaluation unit (6) when switching the optical coupler (5) periodically evaluates a saturation voltage of the optocoupler (5) at the output of the optocoupler (5) with respect to a reference threshold and when it exceeds the reference threshold by the saturation voltage, a warning signal generated.

TL;DR: In this article, a wheel drive module consisting of a wheel (30) and a transmission (15, 25) is presented, where the transmission comprises a first and a second drive gear ring arranged such that they can rotate about a common rotation axis (R).
Abstract: The invention relates to a wheel drive module (1) comprising a wheel (30) and a transmission, wherein the transmission comprises a first and a second drive gear ring (15, 25) which are arranged such that they can rotate about a common rotation axis (R), the wheel (30) can be steered and driven by a respective rotation of the first drive gear ring (15) and the second drive gear ring (25), and a wheel-receiving space (20) extending along the axis of rotation (R) is defined between the first drive gear ring (15) and the second drive gear ring (25), in which the wheel (30) is arranged at least sectionally.

TL;DR: In this paper, a cover device for an electronics housing of an electric motor with at least one base segment and at least 1 rib formed on the base segment is presented, where the base segments are geometrically configured so as to cover at least part of the surface of an electronics opening for drawing in a cooling air volume flow in order to close the electronics housing opening at least for a portion against the intrusion of solids.
Abstract: The invention concerns a cover device for an electronics housing of an electric motor with at least one base segment and at least one rib formed on the base segment, wherein the base segment is geometrically configured so as to cover at least part of the surface of an electronics housing opening for drawing in a cooling air volume flow in order to close the electronics housing opening at least for a portion against the intrusion of solids, and the base segment forms with the at least one rib at least one flow duct, which can be fluidically connected to the electronics housing opening, and wherein the cover device is designed as a modular insert for the electronics housing.

TL;DR: In this paper, a holding system for a fan consisting of a wall ring and a grille is described, where the wall ring has at least one connecting element on the first end face of the fan and the grille has at most one second connecting element in the second end face.
Abstract: The invention relates to a holding system for a fan comprising a wall ring and a protective grille. A holding system according to the invention for a fan with a protective grille having at least one protective-grille strut arranged in the circumferential direction and comprising a wall ring having a first end face is characterized in that the wall ring has at least one first connecting element on the first end face and the protective grille has at least one second connecting element, whereby the first connecting element can be operatively connected to the second connecting element, and the second connecting element is arranged so as to be sunk in the first end face of the wall ring.
