21 Jul 1999TL;DR: In this paper, the speed of an electric motor is regulated by means of a controller (6) that is provided with a setpoint value based on a characteristic function (23).
Abstract: The speed of an electric motor (9) is regulated by means of a controller (6) that is provided with a setpoint value based on a characteristic function (23). The characteristic function (23) calculates a setpoint value for the controller (6) starting from an originally analog variable (A) that is digitally converted by an A/D converter AD (10), using the interpolation points of a characteristic curve MEM + DATA stored in a memory (4), whereby the values that are not determined by supporting values are calculated by means of interpolation.

20 Apr 2012TL;DR: In this article, the motor control electronics are connected to a pre-assembled module and a thermally conductive layer is arranged between each contact area of the cover and the semiconductor component.
Abstract: The fan (1) has an impeller (4) that is mounted inside fan housing (2). An electric motor (6) is configured for rotary drive of the impeller. An attachment housing (8) is provided with motor control electronics. The attachment housing is provided with a metal. A metallic cover is configured to cover the motor control electronics to shield from electromagnetic radiation of electric motor. The motor control electronics is connected to a pre-assembled module. A thermally conductive layer is arranged between each contact area of the cover and the semiconductor component.

30 Sep 2020TL;DR: In this article, a blower arrangement comprising an impeller, which has an axial intake opening formed by a cover plate covering impeller blades at least in sections, by an intake nozzle connected upstream of the impeller is described.
Abstract: A blower arrangement comprising an impeller, which has an axial intake opening formed by a cover plate covering impeller blades at least in sections, by an intake nozzle connected upstream of the impeller, which extends at least in sections into an overlap section in the intake opening of the impeller, wherein a circumferential nozzle gap is formed between the intake nozzle and the cover plate of the impeller, an outer nozzle, which is arranged spaced apart in the radial direction in relation to the impeller and the intake nozzle and enclosing them in the circumferential direction. A first circumferential radial gap is provided between the outer nozzle and the intake nozzle, which forms an inlet nozzle duct extending in the flow direction. A second circumferential radial gap is provided between the outer nozzle and the cover plate of the impeller, which forms a gap duct extending in the flow direction.

19 Nov 2019TL;DR: In this article, the stator of an electric motor is described as having teeth distributed in the circumferential direction and extending in the radial direction and grooves respectively provided between the teeth, wherein adjacent adjacent teeth each form a groove opening at the radial outer edge sections of said teeth, and the radii of the teeth each have a projection extending into the groove opening and each forming a free contact surface directed radially inward.
Abstract: The invention relates to a stator of an electric motor, having teeth distributed in the circumferential direction and extending in the radial direction and grooves respectively provided between the teeth, wherein respectively adjacent teeth each form a groove opening at the radial outer edge sections of said teeth, and the radial outer edge sections of the teeth each have a projection extending into the groove opening in the circumferential direction and each forming a free contact surface directed radially inward.
