06 Dec 2005TL;DR: In this paper, a method for controlling synchronous running of a plurality of electronically commutated motors is presented, which includes the steps of detecting occurrence of a predetermined state of rotor position signals (H 1, H 2, H 3 ) and, in response thereto, triggering simultaneously commutation of the currents in all the motors.
Abstract: A method of controlling synchronous running of a plurality of electronically commutated motors ( 22, 24, 26 ), each of which includes a stator having a stator winding ( 40, 42, 44 ), a permanent-magnet rotor ( 28, 30, 32 ), and at least one arrangement ( 34, 36, 38 ), associated with the respective motor, for sensing its rotor position and for generating a rotor position signal (H 1 , H 2 , H 3 ). Also provided is an energization arrangement ( 46 ), to which the stator windings ( 40, 42, 44 ) of the motors are connected. The method includes the steps of detecting occurrence of a predetermined state of the rotor position signals (H 1 , H 2 , H 3 ) and, in response thereto, triggering simultaneously commutation of the currents in all the motors.

17 Nov 2008TL;DR: In this article, a fan arrangement consisting of a fan driven by an electric motor was described, and a device for continuously detecting an actual electrical value associated with the motor during operation, an input device for entering a desired electrical value for operating the electric motor, a comparator for comparing the desired electrical values with the actual electrical values, and an electrical regulator which regulates said electrical value by means of a pulse width modulation process.
Abstract: Disclosed is a fan arrangement (20) comprising a fan (24) that is driven by an electric motor (22), a device for continuously detecting an actual electrical value associated with the electric motor (22) during operation, an input device for entering a desired electrical value for operating the electric motor, a comparator (26) for comparing said desired electrical value with the actual electrical value, and a regulator which regulates said electrical value by means of a pulse width modulation process (36).

09 Jul 2004TL;DR: In this article, the U-shaped membrane has a bulge(32''') and openings(33) are located in this region, which allow air from the impeller to flow back from the pressure side to the suction side.
Abstract: The fan(10) comprises a housing(30) enclosing an impeller(18) which conveys air from the suction side to a pressure side. A supporting frame(34) surrounds and holds the fan arrangement(40). A membrane(32) made of an elastic material forms a flexible connection between (30) and (34). The fan(10) comprises a housing(30) enclosing an impeller(18) which conveys air from the suction side to a pressure side. A supporting frame(34) surrounds and holds the fan arrangement(40). A membrane(32) made of an elastic material forms a flexible connection between the housing and the supporting frame. Openings(33) in the membrane permit air from the impeller to flow back from the pressure side to the suction side when the pressure side is closed off. The membrane(32) is connected around the whole outer circumference of the housing(30) and over the entire inner circumference of the supporting frame(34). Connection between the membrane, housing and/or supporting frame. Membrane cross-section in the radial plane can be a U-shape or a wave form. Thickness of the membrane at the connection points to the housing and supporting frame is greater than at points between the two points. The U-shaped membrane has a bulge(32''') and openings(33) are located in this region. Openings may be round, rectangular or square or may be elongated holes with rounded or sharp cornered ends. An independent claim is included for a process for manufacturing the fan arrangement(40) in which first and second moving tool parts of an injection molding tool are moved into position between the fan housing and the supporting frame and a membrane is injection molded in a plastic between the two tool parts to join the housing and frame together.

29 May 2013TL;DR: In this paper, anordnung und kontaktelement zur elektrischen Kontaktierung mindestens eines Wicklungsdrahts (26, 26, 26', 26'') was ermoglichen.
