Abstract: Electric motor with absolute encoder comprises a stator and a rotor (14) is provided with a sensor magnet (82) with a number of sensor poles (71,72,73,74), for creating a predefined distribution of the magnetic flux (88). Two rotor position sensors (460,465) are provided for generating rotor position signals (B S1,B S2) which characterize the magnetic flux. An evaluation device (32) is provided which determines absolute value (phie1, phimech) for the rotational position of the rotor from the rotor position signals. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) Electric motor; (B) Exhaust with electric motor and (C) Method for generation absolute value for angle of rotation.

The inside of the plate base of the rotor cover that faces the rotor bell has several radially extending interior blades that are fixedly connected to it.
