TL;DR: In this article, a motor with a stator with a majority of stator blocks and a permanent magnetic rotor is cooperating with this stator, during operation which induces alternating voltage into the stators blocks.
Abstract: The method involves a motor which has a stator with a majority of stator blocks and a permanent magnetic rotor is cooperating with this stator, during operation which induces alternating voltage into the stator blocks. A power amplifier is arranged at the stator blocks to control the current supply of the stator blocks. During the operation the energy input to the motor is interrupted whereby the rotor further rotates. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) Electronic commutator motor; (B) Method for determination of temperature dependent motor parameters and (C) Method for operation of electronically commutated motor.

TL;DR: In this paper, an axial fan or blower is arranged in an inner space of a motor housing, where a wall ring is formed by at least two partial ring sections connecting to the outer diffuser via mechanical connection elements.
Abstract: A housing for a fan or blower, in particular an axial fan, includes a wall ring ( 2 ) having an inlet nozzle section ( 3 ), an outer diffuser ( 6 ) having an inlet flow opening ( 7 ) and an outlet flow opening ( 8 ), and a holder for an electric motor ( 9 ) of the fan. The holder is arranged in an inner space of the housing. The outer diffuser ( 6 ) is formed by at least two partial ring sections that are connected to the outer circumferential surface via mechanical connection elements. The holder includes several struts ( 14 ) that are fastened to an inner circumferential surface of the outer diffuser ( 6 ) by one end, are circumferentially spaced apart, and are fastened in the edge region of the inlet flow opening ( 7 ). The struts can be installed by their other end to a motor flange ( 16 ) of the motor housing ( 17 ) of the electric motor ( 9 ).

TL;DR: In this article, the transient modeling of the thermal characteristics of outer rotor SPM machines by considering a lumped parameter thermal network based approach is presented, where the model extensions and refinements are presented and discussed.
Abstract: This work is about the transient modeling of the thermal characteristics of outer rotor SPM machines by considering a lumped parameter thermal network based approach. The machine considered here poses particular challenges for the modeling, e.g., due to the semi-closed stator surrounded by a rotor bell that provides a speed-dependent cooling of the stator coils. Starting from a simpler basic network configuration, model extensions and refinements are presented and discussed. The subsequent parameter identification is done by means of an initial design of experiments based sampling, and a subsequent single-objective and also a multi-objective optimization of error functions for the components’ temperatures. Analyzing the therefrom derived Pareto fronts and the consequent tradeoff regarding achievable minimum modeling errors for different system’s components gives insights into where and how the modeling can be further improved. All the investigations are based on experimental results obtained through operating a particularly developed test setup.
