11 Jun 2012TL;DR: In this article, a control circuit for an electronically commutated, direct-current motor (M) without a collector with a semiconductor end stage is presented, which is controlled by an electronic commutation control via a driver stage (6) for the time-off control of the stator coils (U,V,W) of the motor.
Abstract: A control circuit (1) for an electronically commutated, direct current motor (M) without a collector with a semiconductor end stage (2) which is controlled by an electronic commutation control (4) via a driver stage (6) for the time-offset control of the stator coils (U,V,W) of the motor (M) for the purpose of producing a magnetic rotating field for a rotor depending on the rotor rotation position. Two redundant stall protection units (10, 12) monitor the motor (M) during operation for rotation of the rotor, whereby in the case of a determined stall situation, the first stall protection unit (10) deactivates the driver stage (6) and the second stall protection unit (12) shuts off the supply voltage (UVCC) for the driver stage (6).

30 Nov 2011TL;DR: In this paper, a volume compensation element (11) is fixed and embodied elastically in such a way that, in order to compensate for pressure fluctuations occurring in the interior, a variable spatial volume is present as a result of a change in the position of the volume compensated element with respect to the carrier plate.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a housing for accommodating an electronic circuit (4) composed of a plurality of components (5), consisting of a carrier plate (7) and a housing cover (8) with a circumferentially closed wall (9) arranged on the carrier plate (7), and with a covering part (10) arranged on the wall (9) and situated opposite the carrier plate (7). On the carrier plate (7), in an interior enclosed by the housing cover (8) in a pressure-tight manner relative to an external atmosphere, a volume compensation element (11) is fixed and embodied elastically in such a way that, in order to compensate for pressure fluctuations occurring in the interior, a variable spatial volume is present as a result of a change in the position of the volume compensation element (11) with respect to the carrier plate (7). An interspace between the volume compensation element (11) and the carrier plate (7) is connected to the external atmosphere.

04 Apr 2007TL;DR: In this paper, an arrangement for contact-connecting at least one electronic component mounted in a housing with connection wires to a cooling surface and a spring element that can be fixed in the housing and has a spring arm which presses the component against the cooling surface in a contact-pressure position of the spring element is presented.
Abstract: An arrangement for contact-connecting at least one electronic component mounted in a housing with connection wires to a cooling surface and a spring element that can be fixed in the housing and has at least one spring arm which presses the component against the cooling surface in a contact-pressure position of the spring element is presented. The arrangement is characterized in that the spring element can be inserted into the housing without touching the component, and the housing is provided with retaining means for the spring element adapted in a manner so that no shear forces are produced in the longitudinal direction of the connection wires when the spring element is mounted.

01 Jul 2010TL;DR: In this paper, a fan consisting of an electronically commutated drive motor (27) and a bearing tube (62) is shown to have an inner surface and an outer surface, and the internal stator of the drive motor is arranged in the area of the outer surface.
Abstract: A fan is disclosed that comprises an electronically commutated drive motor (27) and a bearing tube (62) which has an inner surface and an outer surface. The internal stator of the drive motor (27) is arranged in the area of the outer surface. An external rotor (28) of said motor cooperates with the internal stator (72) during operation. Blades (26) of the fan (22) are arranged on the outer circumference of the external rotor (28). Bearing elements (52, 54), by means of which a shaft (46) that is connected to the external rotor (28) is mounted, are disposed on the inner surface of the bearing tube (62). Ducts that are provided inside the bearing tube (62) allow coolant to flow through the bearing tube (62) during operation of the fan (22).
