Abstract: The goal of this text is to write about the participation of medical students from the Federal University of Roraima (UFRR) in an extension work that happened in the state of Amazonas. The capacitation was performed by the Tropical Medicine Foundation Heitor Vieira Dourado (FMT-HVD) addressed in Manaus, Amazonas, seeking to show direction about the correct management and treatment of snake envenoming. This action had a target audience of health professionals and medical students. There were 84 participants and it happened in five days with 8 hours per day. During the course there were speeches, clinical case discussion and practice work, for integrating the basic and clinical stage medical and development of clinical skills. This strategy evidenced many health professionals present had preview experience with snake envenoming, but did not know the correct management and even the accurate pharmacological doses. Hence, reporting the experience of training like this is a way to provide medical learning about diseases of local importance, such as snakebite envenomation in the Amazon Region.

Abstract: This work had as main focus the accomplishment of a survey of theses and dissertations in the Thesis Bank of the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel – Capes – to compose a Systematic Review (RS) on the study of language in postgraduate programs in education. and education, from the Amazon region. The research was based on the following objectives: know theses and dissertations produced in postgraduate programs in education and teaching in the Amazon region on language; to present the methodological path and the theoretical basis of theses and dissertations about language in the period from 2013 to 2018; and to analyze the scientific productions that approached the Language besides identifying the categories, their function and their contribution to education and teaching. The results indicated productions in mathematical and scientific language, cognitive process and oral and written language, being more evidenced in the analyzed scientific productions, and a limited scientific production about the language in the Amazon region.

Abstract: O objetivo deste estudo, de natureza exploratoria e descritiva, foi analisar a percepcao de dez profissionais da educacao sobre mecanismos promotores e fatores que dificultam a resiliencia academica no ensino fundamental. As informacoes foram obtidas utilizando-se um questionario. A analise dos dados foi pautada na abordagem qualitativa proposta por Bardin. Os resultados foram: a) mecanismos de protecao: dialogo, trabalho junto a orgaos de protecao, participacao dos pais, insercao de um psicologo no ambiente escolar; b) fatores de risco: problemas familiares, violencia, questoes financeiras, falta de amor a profissao e ao aluno. A escola estudada pode ser caracterizada como resiliente, reflexiva e dinâmica.
