TL;DR: In this article, the structural and dynamical aspects of the fluorination mechanism leading to fluorographene formation from graphene membranes were investigated using fully reactive molecular dynamics methodologies, and the results obtained in their simulations are in good agreement with the broad distribution of values for the lattice parameter experimentally observed.
Abstract: Using fully reactive molecular dynamics methodologies we investigated the structural and dynamical aspects of the fluorination mechanism leading to fluorographene formation from graphene membranes. Fluorination tends to produce significant defective areas on the membranes with variation on the typical carbon-carbon distances, sometimes with the presence of large holes due to carbon losses. The results obtained in our simulations are in good agreement with the broad distribution of values for the lattice parameter experimentally observed. We have also investigated mixed atmospheres composed by H and F atoms. When H is present in small quantities an expressive reduction on the rate of incorporation of fluorine was observed. On the other hand when fluorine atoms are present in small quantities in a hydrogen atmosphere, they induce an increasing on the hydrogen incorporation and the formation of locally self-organized structure of adsorbed H and F atoms.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors consider global properties of gravitomagnetism by investigating the gravitomsagnetic field of a rotating cosmic string and show that although the mass produced by such a configuration of matter vanishes locally, it can be detected globally.
Abstract: We consider global properties of gravitomagnetism by investigating the gravitomagnetic field of a rotating cosmic string. We show that although the gravitomagnetic field produced by such a configuration of matter vanishes locally, it can be detected globally. In this context we discuss the gravitational analogue of the Aharonov-Bohm effect.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors discuss the relationship between the Brazilian civil-military dictatorship and the Roraima state's constitution as well as its capital, Boa Vista City.
EnglishAbstract The text that makes up this essay points to some excerpts and relations between the Brazilian civil-military dictatorship and the Roraima state’s constitution as well as its capital, Boa Vista City. To do so, I start from the narrative of an old character of these events, referring, among other things, to the increment of migratory flows, to predatory extraction, to censorship against people and, especially, to the genocidal contact between white man and Yanomami and Wamiri-Atroari indigenous people, in the construction of two federal highways that go through the territories of these traditional communities. From the theoretical-epistemological point of view, it seeks, applying psychology and its different interlocutions, an approximate effort with such stories, the ways of counting them and the different policies that can sustain our listening to the narrated. It is placed, thus, as a double-implicated ethical-political undertaking. First, outlining the reasons, institutions, and practices that made possible the existence of such events. Second, alerting to the danger of perpetuation or repetition of barbarism in the present. portuguesResumo o texto que compoe este ensaio aponta algumas passagens e relacoes entre a ditadura civil-militar brasileira e a constituicao do estado de Roraima e da cidade de Boa Vista, sua capital. TL;DR: In this article, the authors discuss the differences between the concepts of ethnodevelopment and indigenous buen vivir in its interface with public policy through a conventional literature review and conclude that the idea of development has been transformed from modernization and economic growth to more critical or negative perspectives of the capitalist development paradigm.
Abstract: Radical questions about the ideas linked to the notion of development, such as, growth, progress, market reform, extractivism, excessive increase in individual material consumption, etc., converge to alternative developments or alternatives to the idea of development itself. That said, this article discussed the differences between the concepts of ethnodevelopment and indigenous buen vivir in its interface with public policy through a conventional literature review. The results show that the idea of development has been transformed from modernization and economic growth to more critical or negative perspectives of the capitalist development paradigm. Ethnodevelopment, while focusing on the ethnic, historical and cultural issues in development processes, still does so for the purpose of economic efficiency. Buen vivir, on the other hand, seeks fullness and balance between peoples, nature and metaphysics, which puts it as an alternative to development, since it is not supported by Judaic-Christian, anthropocentric and rational-scientific logic. It is concluded that ethnodevelopment, from the indigenous perspective, seems to be less interesting as a development project and that buen vivir, although it has been constitutionally recognized in Bolivia and Ecuador, has always been in conflict due to capitalist colonization in ways of thinking about time, space, economics, social relations, nature, society and, therefore, public policy.
