A Study of the Genetic Relation between Mawayana and Wapishana (Arawakan Family)

Abstract: This paper presents a first approach at the genetic relation between two Arawakan languages, Mawayana and Wapishana, which have been claimed to form a subgroup in all recent classifications of the family. On the basis of 149 proposed cognate sets, based on data from the available literature and field research on both languages, correspondences are set up and reconstructed proto-phonemes are proposed for the proto-language of what is here called the Pidjanan sub-branch of the Negro-Roraima branch of Arawakan. In conclusion, a description of the historical phonology and of selected aspects of the historical morphology of these languages is offered.

Sinestesia, Arte e Deficiência visual: aplicação de um método didático-pedagógico para apreciação de pinturas por alunos não visuais na educação básica

Abstract: Este estudo propoe demonstrar como o ensino das Artes Visuais pode ser adaptado ao aluno deficiente visual da Educacao Basica. Considerando-se o principio de que a Arte esta ligada aos sentimentos humanos, muitos acreditam que, por nao enxergar, esse aluno esta excluido daquilo que se refere a poetica visual. Diante das dificuldades encontradas no processo de inclusao de alunos deficientes visuais no ensino de Artes Visuais e da ausencia de materiais de apoio ao docente adaptados a esse publico, defendemos que, por intermedio do uso de pranchas tateis, trabalhadas levando-se em consideracao a sinestesia (fenomeno que provoca reacoes multissensoriais, misturando mais de um sentido diante de um objeto de analise), e possivel que o aluno nao visual possa apreciar pinturas nas aulas de arte. Aqui, apresentamos um relato de experiencia sobre a criacao e a aplicacao de um metodo didatico-pedagogico de ensino-aprendizagem de Artes Visuais unindo essas pranchas tateis a uma atmosfera sinestesica para alunos nao visuais da Educacao Basica, com a finalidade de pensar uma aula de Arte significativa e inclusiva aos alunos deficientes visuais.

Psicologia: análise bibliográfica da síndrome de burnout no contexto da pandemia da covid-19

Abstract: This article is about the scope of the psychological field with the theme of the analysis of Burnout syndrome in the context of the new Coronavirus pandemic with professionals in the field of psychology. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the Burnout Syndrome consists of poorly managed chronic stress arising from high workloads and double shifts that require high levels of professional responsibilities. From this perspective, the article has goal to analyze whether the COVID-19 pandemic contributed to the levels of intensification of the onset of Burnout syndrome among professionals in the field of psychology. In this sense, the article reflects and proposes a re-reading of the concepts and definitions of the pathology, contextualizing the COVID-19 pandemic, thus presenting the symptoms, causes, diagnosis and treatments, as well as the most affected professionals. The research methodology starts from a literature review called bibliographic research of exploratory and descriptive nature under the perspective of qualitative research and content analysis. As an expected result, the article presents an updated discussion about topic in the context of the pandemic, showing that the diseases of the century have intensified with COVID-19 affecting the lives of health professionals, in particular Psychologists who, during the pandemic, have been on the line front, they had their workloads expanded and began to live each day with a greater psychological burden, intensified by the peaks of COVID-19, which has victimized millions of people.

Sistemas deposicionais fluviais: análise estratigráfica das unidades sedimentares da formação boa vista, nordeste da bacia do tacutu, rr.

Abstract: A Formacao Boa Vista e unidade sedimentar de idade neogena que ocorre no âmbito geologico do hemigraben Tacutu, porcao centro nordeste do estado de Roraima, cuja sedimentacao efetivou-se durante a sua estruturacao. Trata-se de uma unidade sedimentar relativamente rasa, cuja espessura varia de acordo com a conformacao do embasamento entre 15 a 120 metros. Composta por duas sucessoes sedimentares semi-consolidadas, sendo a inferior composta por cascalhos com graos de tamanhos variando entre grânulo a matacao e a superior composta por areias ferruginosas, levemente conglomeraticas. O presente trabalho foi realizado em tres afloramentos localizados no municipio do Bonfim, nordeste do estado de Roraima, em area exposta por acao antropica onde se realizava extracao de agregados minerais para construcao civil, tratando-se de um discreto alto geografico adjacente a Serra do Tucano. Sua compartimentacao estratigrafica e distribuicao geografica permanecem ainda pouco conhecidas, bem como o ambiente deposicional correspondente permanece desconhecido. Este trabalho realizou um estudo estratigrafico litofaciologico e de fotointerpretacao geologica com o objetivo de investigar seu provavel ambiente deposicional.
