Notes on Stenhelmoides and description of the true male genitalia of S. strictifrons Grouvelle, 1908 (Coleoptera: Elmidae)

Abstract: The genus Stenhelmoides comprises 15 species spread over all Central and South America and its greatest species richness is clearly associated with Amazonian regions. Based on examination of type specimens and additional material, we describe and illustrate the true male genitalia of Stenhelmoides strictifrons, which had until now been incorrectly illustrated in the literature. We also report new records of the genus Stenhelmoides from Brazil and Guyana. In addition to pictures of the species’ habitus, we provide pictures of the type specimens of Stenhelmoides grandis, S. grouvellei, S. guyanensis; S. strictifrons and S. submaculus. Based on the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature, we recognize additional paralectotypes for S. guyanensis and for S. grouvellei.

Abstract: Este estudo propoe-se a apresentar os conceitos de Cultura Organizacional e suas tipologias. Pode-se dizer que a cultura de uma entidade reflete na sua identidade, sendo essa a base para gestao e performance dos profissionais envolvidos, contudo, as organizacoes sao tao variadas quanto as pessoas, visto que pessoas possuem personalidades, e organizacoes nao sao diferentes. No ensaio sao discutidos alguns conceitos de cultura organizacional e suas tipologias.

Mycobacterium simiae infection in an immunocompetent elderly woman: case report in roraima state of brasil

Abstract: A Mycobacterium simiae pulmonary infection in an eighty-year-old patient attended to at the Tuberculosis Secondary Referral Outpatient Clinic in the city of Boa Vista, Roraima between 2016 and 2019. This study aims to report the symptoms, diagnostic methods, and treatment of the patient because for this rare case in Brazil, and this patient had a late and difficult diagnosis. Due to this difficulty, the patient was treated for pulmonary tuberculosis for years without being cured. Finally, after a correct diagnosis, the treatment was stopped due to failure.
