TL;DR: The post-embryonic development of the component glands of the salivary system of Camponotus rufipes (Formicinae) is studied to establish their points of origin and possible homologies to those of other Hymenoptera and other insects.
Abstract: The post-embryonic development of the component glands of the salivary system of Camponotus rufipes (Formicinae) is studied. This system, is composed of four pairs of glands: the salivary gland of thorax, the post-pharyngeal gland, the hypo-pharyngeal gland and the mandibular gland. The first develops from the duct remainder of the salivary gland of the larva, which degenerates after the last larval instar; the second protrudes from the posterior pharyngeal region; the third protrudes from the region which will form the hypopharyngeal plate; and the last protrudes from the mandibular wall. The adult glands begin their differentiation in the pre-pupal and during the white-eyed pupa stages. The development is studied anatomically and histologically, and in this way an attempt is made to establish their points of origin and possible homologies to those of other Hymenoptera and other insects.

TL;DR: In this paper, the energy levels of electrons trapped on the surface of liquid helium as a function of the parameter β were calculated using an exactly soluble model of image potential which has the form -Ze 2 / (z+β).

TL;DR: In this article, the de Haas-van Alphen conditions were applied to the sound velocity of an interacting electron gas and the results showed that the dHvA oscillations of sound velocity have the same one phase as in the case of an ideal electron gas.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used both SCLC and TSC to study naphthalene single crystals and found that TSC is a good method for determining trap parameters in dielectric materials.
Abstract: It is well known that the measurement of space-charge-limited currents in solids is a powerful tool for detecting low density carriers traps. But measurement of thermally stimulated currents is also a good method for determining trapping parameters in dielectric materials. Each method has specific limitations, so it is interesting to carry out both techniques. We have used both SCLC and TSC to study naphthalene single crystals.
