TL;DR: Recommendations are made on which staging systems should be adopted by population-based cancer registries for the major childhood cancers, including adaptations for low-income countries and how to ease international comparative incidence and outcome studies.
Abstract: Population-based cancer registries generate estimates of incidence and survival that are essential for cancer surveillance, research, and control strategies. Although data on cancer stage allow meaningful assessments of changes in cancer incidence and outcomes, stage is not recorded by most population-based cancer registries. The main method of staging adult cancers is the TNM classification. The criteria for staging paediatric cancers, however, vary by diagnosis, have evolved over time, and sometimes vary by cooperative trial group. Consistency in the collection of staging data has therefore been challenging for population-based cancer registries. We assembled key experts and stakeholders (oncologists, cancer registrars, epidemiologists) and used a modified Delphi approach to establish principles for paediatric cancer stage collection. In this Review, we make recommendations on which staging systems should be adopted by population-based cancer registries for the major childhood cancers, including adaptations for low-income countries. Wide adoption of these guidelines in registries will ease international comparative incidence and outcome studies.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the effects of consumers' shopping orientations (brand/fashion consciousness, shopping enjoyment, price consciousness, convenience/time awareness, shopping confidence, in-home shopping tendency), consumer innovativeness, online purchase experience for fashion products, and gender on consumers' intention to buy fashion products online.
Abstract: Nowadays, many fashion retailers or marketers use the power of internet to promote and sell their products. This research examines the effects of consumers’ shopping orientations (brand/fashion consciousness, shopping enjoyment, price consciousness, convenience/time consciousness, shopping confidence, in-home shopping tendency), consumer innovativeness, online purchase experience for fashion products, and gender on consumers’ intention to shop for fashion products online. Data were collected through online surveys from the population of internet users in Indonesia, aged between 15 and 30 years old (generation Y), who had bought or browsed fashion products through the internet (N=210). This research is a quantitative research which uses purposive sampling and multiple regression analysis. Results show that the effects of several shopping orientations (shopping enjoyment, price consciousness, in-home shopping tendency), consumer innovativeness, online purchase experience for fashion products, and gender, are significant on consumers’ intention to shop for fashion products online. Furthermore, gender is marginally significant related to consumers’ intention to shop for fashion products online. Surprisingly, women tend to have lower intentions to shop for fashion products online compared to men.

TL;DR: In this paper, a substantial spin splitting band observed in the conduction band minimum (CBM) of the monolayer (ML) is effectively controlled and tuned by applying the biaxial strain.
Abstract: Spin splitting bands that arise in the conduction band minimum (CBM) of the ${\text{WS}}_{2}$ monolayer (ML) play an important role in the spin-orbit phenomena such as spin-valley coupled electronics. However, application of strain strongly modifies electronic properties of the ${\text{WS}}_{2}$ ML, which is expected to significantly affect the properties of the spin splitting bands. Here, by using fully-relativistic first-principles calculations based on density-functional theory, we show that a substantial spin splitting band observed in the CBM is effectively controlled and tuned by applying the biaxial strain. We also find that these spin splitting bands induce spin textures exhibiting fully out-of-plane spin polarization in the opposite direction between the $K$ and $Q$ points and their time reversals in the first Brillouin zone. Our study clarifies that the strain plays a significant role in the spin-orbit coupling of the ${\text{WS}}_{2}$ ML, which has very important implications in designing future spintronics devices.

TL;DR: In this article, Ramie woven was treated using common chemical solvents that were ethanol, methyl ethyl ketone, acetone, and silane as coupling agent, which showed that panel could resist the penetration of high-impact projectile for level II with some fractures phenomenon.
Abstract: Ramie (Boehmeria nivea) is one of the strongest natural cellulose fibers. Optimizing abundant resources ramie as a candidate materials used for reinforcing in polymeric composite material is a must to obtained high-performance natural fibers reinforced polymer especially for bulletproof panel or high-impact flexibility safer structures. Ramie woven was treated using common chemical solvents that were ethanol, methyl ethyl ketone, acetone, and silane as coupling agent. Composite panels were made by hand lay-up process with epoxy as a matrix. These prototype bulletproof panels were to be believed lighter in weight and much lower economic cost than conventional bulletproof panels made from ceramic plate, Kevlar/aramid composite, and steel-based material as a popular today in military standard antiballistic equipments. From the bullet testing result, it showed that panel could be able to resist the penetration of high-impact projectile for level II with some fractures phenomenon. Level IV ballistic testing sh...
