TL;DR: Modifications to the traditional manufacturing planning and control model to reflect the principles of the Theory of Constraints (TOC), along with the selection of proper competitive factors provide a means of synchronizing the production process to an ever-more demanding market.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors located the debate on the contemporary political context (prison-based education Pell Grants) and found that until its elimination in 1993/1994 with the passage of the Crime Bill, Pell Grants were the primary sources of funding for postsecondary, correctional-education programming in America.
Abstract: Debate over prison-based education continues to divide scholars. Central to this debate are two contradictory perspectives on prison education. These perspectives are (a) an idealistic/optimistic view regarding prison education and (b) a pessimistic reaction to prison education. We located the debate on the contemporary political context (prison-based education Pell Grants). Until its elimination in 1993/1994 with the passage of the Crime Bill, Pell Grants were the primary sources of funding for postsecondary, correctional-education programming in America. This recent, external, environmental change on our penal systems has profound political, economic, and social implications that might be too important and too costly to ignore.

TL;DR: Consumption of MIPS during the course of a periodized RT program facilitated training-induced improvement in LM in trained males, whereas the consumption of PLA did not, and MIPS improved measures of anaerobic power whilePLA did not.
Abstract: Background
Resistance training (RT) enhances muscle protein synthesis and hypertrophy while increasing strength and power. Some multi-ingredient performance supplements (MIPS) have been shown to augment the physiological improvements associated with RT. The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of specific pre- and post-workout MIPS on anabolic hormones, body composition, muscle strength, and power in resistance-trained men participating in a periodized RT program.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the CO2 emissions embodied in China-Japan trade during 1995-2009 and tried to identify the driving forces for the change in CO2 emitted by China to Japan during that period by using structural decomposition analysis.
Abstract: Energy-related CO2 emissions embodied in international trade have been widely studied by researchers all over the world. By using the bilateral trade input–output (BTIO) approach, this study investigates the CO2 emissions embodied in China–Japan trade during 1995–2009 and attempts to identify the driving forces for the change in CO2 emissions embodied in China’s exports to Japan during that period by using structural decomposition analysis (SDA). Result shows that CO2 emissions embodied in China’s exports increased by about 100% from 1995 to 2009, whereas those embodied in China’s imports increased by about 500% during the same period. Result of this research also reveals that the scale effect had a large influence on the increase in CO2 emissions embodied in China–Japan trade. The technical effect greatly decreased CO2 emissions embodied in China’s exports to Japan, but obviously increased those embodied in imports. The influence of the structural effect was relatively small and insignificant in ...

TL;DR: This paper found a positive relationship between job satisfaction and various dimensions of organizational citizenship behavior, including job satisfaction, organizational citizenship, and organizational citizenship. But these studies have focused almost exclusively on job satisfaction.
Abstract: Previous research has shown a positive relationship between job satisfaction and various dimensions of organizational citizenship behavior These studies, however, have focused almost exclusively o
