TL;DR: In this article, the binding energies, vertex constants, and asymptotic normalization coefficients in the N+d channel are calculated for 3H and 3He nuclei in a two-body model.
Abstract: 3H and 3He nuclei are considered in a two-body model (3H = n + d; 3He = p + d). Two independent approaches are used: in the first, interaction is described by the folding potential, while NN potentials are taken in the Hulthen form with allowance for violations of isotopic invariance. The second approach features phenomenological Hulthen and Yukawa Nd potentials used as Nd interaction. In both approaches, the binding energies, vertex constants, and asymptotic normalization coefficients in the N+d channel are calculated.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed Gene Vectors Embodied Deep Attentional Factorization Machines (GDFMs) for the gene to gene interaction prediction, which uses an attention-based mechanism that manipulates different positions, to learn the representation of sequence, before calculating the pairwise factorized interactions.
Abstract: Gene Network Graphs (GNGs) are comprised of biomedical data. Deriving structural information from these graphs remains a prime area of research in the domain of biomedical and health informatics. In this paper, we propose Gene Vectors Embodied Deep Attentional Factorization Machines (GDFMs) for the gene to gene interaction prediction. We first initialize GDFM with vector embeddings learned from gene locality configuration and an expression equivalence criterion that preserves their innate similar traits. GDFM uses an attention-based mechanism that manipulates different positions, to learn the representation of sequence, before calculating the pairwise factorized interactions. We further use hidden layers, batch normalization, and dropout to stabilize the performance of our deep structured architecture. An extensive comparison with several state-of-the-art approaches, using Ecoli and Yeast datasets for gene-gene interaction prediction shows the significance of our proposed framework.

TL;DR: In this article, a microstrip patch antenna for UWB applications is presented, where the simple and compact geometry of the antenna design is beneficial from the fabrication point of view, and an analysis of changing substrates with the same design is presented.
Abstract: This paper presents a microstrip patch antenna for Ultra-Wideband (UWB) applications. Coplanar waveguide feed is used to excite the radiator. The simple and compact geometry of the design is beneficial from the fabrication point of view. The paper further presents an analysis of changing substrates with the same design. The varying thicknesses of substrates also affect the results. The summarized report will help antenna designers for the choice of the substrate. Rigid and commercially available substrates can be applied in economical solutions. Semiflexible and flexible substrates are used in antennas for conformal applications.

24 Apr 2011TL;DR: In this paper, the V 2 O 4 -PEPC composite based temperature sensors were designed and fabricated by dropcasting the blend of V O 4 −PEPC microcomposite into thin films between the gap of preliminary deposited electrodes on a glass substrates.
Abstract: In this study V 2 O 4 -PEPC composite based temperature sensors were designed and fabricated by drop-casting the blend of V 2 O 4 -PEPC microcomposite into thin films between the gap of preliminary deposited electrodes on a glass substrates. The blend was prepared by mixing 10 wt.% vanadium oxide (V 2 O 4 ) micro-powder and 2 wt.% poly-N-epoxypropylcarbazole (PEPC) in 1 ml of benzol. The thickness of the V 2 O 4 -PEPC films was in the range of 20–40 μm. The gap between silver electrodes was in the range 30–40 μm. The length of silver electrodes was equal to 15 mm. It was found that with increase in temperature from 33 °C to 90 °C the AC resistance of the samples decreases by 10–12 times. The resistance-temperature relationships were simulated.
