TL;DR: In this article, a 300-nm-thick film of methyl-red was deposited by a spin coater at an angular speed of 2000 revolutions per minute (RPM) on a glass substrate with preliminary deposited metal electrodes to form the Ag/methyl-red/Ag surface type cell.
Abstract: This paper describes the experimental results for humidity-dependent resistive and capacitive response of methyl-red thin films in a Ag/methyl-red/Ag surface-type cell. A 300-nm-thick film of methyl-red was deposited from 10 wt% solution in benzene by a spin coater at an angular speed of 2000 revolutions per minute (RPM) on a glass substrate with preliminary deposited metal electrodes to form the Ag/methyl-red/Ag surface-type cell. The length and width of the gap between the electrodes were 50 μm and 15 mm, respectively. The resistance of the film reduced from 37 to 17 MΩ with an elevation of relative humidity level over the whole humidity range. It was also observed that under the effect of humidity, the capacitance of the methyl-red thin film increased by 12 times. The capacitive/resistive sensor has a quasi-linear function with relative humidity in the range of 30–95% and has a small hysteresis. The response and recovery time of the sensor was about 10 s for the capacitive sensor. The humidity-dependent resistive and capacitive properties of this sensor make it promising for use in a humidity meter.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the thermal stability of different diamond grades under environmental conditions which are characteristic for the selected pressurized liquid melt infiltration technique (squeeze casting) and the influence of both the diamond grade, i.e., synthetic and natural, mono-and polycrystalline diamond and the particle size.

TL;DR: The combined effects of Newtonian heating and internal heat generation/absorption in the two-dimensional flow of Eyring-Powell fluid over a stretching surface is investigated.
Abstract: In this paper, we have investigated the combined effects of Newtonian heating and internal heat generation/absorption in the two-dimensional flow of Eyring-Powell fluid over a stretching surface. The governing non-linear analysis of partial differential equations is reduced into the ordinary differential equations using similarity transformations. The resulting problems are computed for both series and numerical solutions. Series solution is constructed using homotopy analysis method (HAM) whereas numerical solution is presented by two different techniques namely shooting method and bvp4c. A comparison of homotopy solution with numerical solution is also tabulated. Both solutions are found in an excellent agreement. Dimensionless velocity and temperature profiles are plotted and discussed for various emerging physical parameters.

TL;DR: In this article, an exact solution of the spherical wave equation is obtained in D-dimensional fractional space, which is useful for studying the electromagnetic wave propagation phenomenon in spherical geometries consisting fractal media.
Abstract: In this paper, an exact solution of the spherical wave equation is obtained in D-dimensional fractional space. The obtained fractional space solution provides a generalization of electromagnetic wave propagation phenomenon from integer space to the fractional space. The classical results are recovered from fractional space solution, when integer space is considered. The investigated solution is useful for studying the electromagnetic wave propagation phenomenon in spherical geometries consisting fractal media.
