Abstract: A binary version of the hybrid grey wolf optimization (GWO) and particle swarm optimization (PSO) is proposed to solve feature selection problems in this paper. The original PSOGWO is a new hybrid optimization algorithm that benefits from the strengths of both GWO and PSO. Despite the superior performance, the original hybrid approach is appropriate for problems with a continuous search space. Feature selection, however, is a binary problem. Therefore, a binary version of hybrid PSOGWO called BGWOPSO is proposed to find the best feature subset. To find the best solutions, the wrapper-based method K-nearest neighbors classifier with Euclidean separation matric is utilized. For performance evaluation of the proposed binary algorithm, 18 standard benchmark datasets from UCI repository are employed. The results show that BGWOPSO significantly outperformed the binary GWO (BGWO), the binary PSO, the binary genetic algorithm, and the whale optimization algorithm with simulated annealing when using several performance measures including accuracy, selecting the best optimal features, and the computational time.

Abstract: OBJECTIVE. The purpose of this work was to determine relationships between BMI status at ages 4 to 5 years and mothers9 and fathers9 parenting dimensions and parenting styles. PARTICIPANTS AND METHODS. Participants were composed of all 4983 of the 4- to 5-year-old children in wave 1 of the nationally representative Longitudinal Study of Australian Children with complete BMI and maternal parenting data. Mothers and fathers self-reported their parenting behaviors on 3 multi-item continuous scales (warmth, control, and irritability) and were each categorized as having 1 of 4 parenting styles (authoritative, authoritarian, permissive, and disengaged) using internal warmth and control tertile cut points. Using a proportional odds model, odds ratios for children being in a higher BMI category were computed for mothers and fathers separately and together, after adjustment for factors associated with child BMI, including mothers9 and fathers9 BMI status. RESULTS. The sample was composed of 2537 boys and 2446 girls with a mean age 56.9 months; 15% were overweight and 5% were obese (International Obesity Task Force criteria). Mothers9 parenting behaviors and styles were not associated in any model with higher odds of children being in a heavier BMI category, with or without multiple imputation to account for missing maternal BMI data. Higher father control scores were associated with lower odds of the child being in a higher BMI category. Compared with the reference authoritative style, children of fathers with permissive and disengaged parenting styles had higher odds of being in a higher BMI category. CONCLUSIONS. This article is the first, to our knowledge, to examine the parenting of both parents in relation to preschoolers9 BMI status while also adjusting for parental BMI status. Fathers9 but not mothers9 parenting behaviors and styles were associated with increased risks of preschooler overweight and obesity. Longitudinal impacts of parenting on BMI gain remain to be determined.

Abstract: The impact of the service experience on consumers' feelings, satisfaction and service brand attitudes are of vital importance to service marketers. In an attempt to understand how consumers evaluate service performances this study seeks to explore the dimensions of the service brand that influence consumers at time of service consumption. In addition, the study also examines post‐consumption evaluations. A study of 254 bank consumers revealed that the core service, employee service and servicescape make a significant contribution to the service consumption experience. Furthermore, the service experience was found to significantly effect feelings, satisfaction and brand attitudes.

Abstract: A titanium carbide (Ti3 C2 Tx ) MXene is employed as an efficient solid support to host a nitrogen (N) and sulfur (S) coordinated ruthenium single atom (RuSA ) catalyst, which displays superior activity toward the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy and aberration corrected scanning transmission electron microscopy reveal the atomic dispersion of Ru on the Ti3 C2 Tx MXene support and the successful coordination of RuSA with the N and S species on the Ti3 C2 Tx MXene. The resultant RuSA -N-S-Ti3 C2 Tx catalyst exhibits a low overpotential of 76 mV to achieve the current density of 10 mA cm-2 . Furthermore, it is shown that integrating the RuSA -N-S-Ti3 C2 Tx catalyst on n+ np+ -Si photocathode enables photoelectrochemical hydrogen production with exceptionally high photocurrent density of 37.6 mA cm-2 that is higher than the reported precious Pt and other noble metals catalysts coupled to Si photocathodes. Density functional theory calculations suggest that RuSA coordinated with N and S sites on the Ti3 C2 Tx MXene support is the origin of this enhanced HER activity. This work would extend the possibility of using the MXene family as a solid support for the rational design of various single atom catalysts.

Abstract: Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDA) remains a lethal malignancy despite much progress concerning its molecular characterization. PDA tumours harbour four signature somatic mutations in addition to numerous lower frequency genetic events of uncertain significance. Here we use Sleeping Beauty (SB) transposon-mediated insertional mutagenesis in a mouse model of pancreatic ductal preneoplasia to identify genes that cooperate with oncogenic Kras(G12D) to accelerate tumorigenesis and promote progression. Our screen revealed new candidate genes for PDA and confirmed the importance of many genes and pathways previously implicated in human PDA. The most commonly mutated gene was the X-linked deubiquitinase Usp9x, which was inactivated in over 50% of the tumours. Although previous work had attributed a pro-survival role to USP9X in human neoplasia, we found instead that loss of Usp9x enhances transformation and protects pancreatic cancer cells from anoikis. Clinically, low USP9X protein and messenger RNA expression in PDA correlates with poor survival after surgery, and USP9X levels are inversely associated with metastatic burden in advanced disease. Furthermore, chromatin modulation with trichostatin A or 5-aza-2'-deoxycytidine elevates USP9X expression in human PDA cell lines, indicating a clinical approach for certain patients. The conditional deletion of Usp9x cooperated with Kras(G12D) to accelerate pancreatic tumorigenesis in mice, validating their genetic interaction. We propose that USP9X is a major tumour suppressor gene with prognostic and therapeutic relevance in PDA.
