Branching fraction measurements of χc0 and χc2 to π0π0 and ηη

Abstract: Using a sample of 1.06 x 10(8) psi' decays collected by the BESIII detector, chi(c0) and chi(c2) decays into pi(0)pi(0) and eta eta are studied. The branching fraction results are Br(chi(c0) -> pi(0)pi(0)) = (3.23 +/- 0.03 +/- 0.23 +/- 0.14) x 10(-3), Br(chi(c2) -> pi(0)pi(0)) = (8.8 +/- 0.2 +/- 0.6 +/- 0.4) x 10(-4), Br(chi(c0) -> eta eta) = (3.44 +/- 0.10 +/- 0.24 +/- 0.2) x 10(-3), and Br(chi(c2) -> eta eta) = (6.5 +/- 0.4 +/- 0.5 +/- 0.3) x 10(-4), where the uncertainties are statistical, systematic due to this measurement, and systematic due to the branching fractions of psi' -> gamma chi(cJ). The results provide information on the decay mechanism of chi(c) states into pseudoscalars.

Enantioselective Dearomative [3+2] Cycloaddition Reactions of Benzothiazoles

Abstract: A highly enantioselective dearomative [3+2] cycloaddition of benzothiazole has been successfully developed. A wide range of benzothiazoles and cyclopropane-1,1-dicarboxylates are suitable substrates for this reaction. The desired hydropyrrolo[2,1-b]thiazole compounds were obtained in excellent enantioselectivity and yields (up to 97 % ee and 97 % yield). With the same catalytic system, a highly efficient kinetic resolution of 2-substituted cyclopropane-1,1-dicarboxylates was also realized.

Structural Validity of the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index in Chinese Undergraduate Students.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine the structural validity of the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) in Chinese undergraduate students. A cross-sectional questionnaire survey with 631 Chinese undergraduate students was conducted, and the questionnaire package included a measure of demographic characteristics, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), Chinese editions of Center for Epidemiologic Studies-Depression, State- Trait Anxiety Inventory, Rumination Response Scale, and Perceived Social Support Scale. Results showed that the item “use of sleep medicine” was not suitable for use with this population, that a two-factor model provided the best fit to the data as assessed through confirmatory factor analysis, and that other indices were consistently correlated with the sleep quality but not the sleep efficiency factor.
