TL;DR: In this article, a two-echelon supply chain is considered, where a manufacturer sells products through both her own online channel and a traditional retailer, and the retailer provides customers with some pre-sales services, which have positive impact on the market demand.

TL;DR: In this paper, a hierarchical ZnO composed of ultrathin nanosheets as secondary structures was fabricated through a hydrothermal method, and hexagonal wurtzite CdS with diameter between 50-100 nm were incorporated on the wurtzinite ZnOs sheets with the assistance of ultrasonic irradiation.
Abstract: Hierarchical ZnO composed of ultrathin nanosheets as secondary structures were fabricated through a hydrothermal method. Afterwards, hexagonal wurtzite CdS with diameter between 50–100 nm were incorporated on the wurtzite ZnO sheets with the assistance of ultrasonic irradiation. The hybrid ZnO/CdS samples were intensively investigated by SEM, TEM, HRTEM, XRD, XPS, PL and the UV-Vis absorption spectrum. The photocatalytic trials confirmed that the ZnO/CdS hierarchical heterostructures exhibit improved degradation efficiency compared to pure ZnO sample under natural sunlight. CdS nanoparticles are believed to serve as photo-sensitizers to extend the absorption spectrum to the visible region and the loading amount was also found to play a crucial role in influencing the degradation efficiency. Moreover, the photodegradation kinetics of RhB via using CdS/ZnO as photocatalysts were also systematically discussed. Finally, a mechanism based on this band-gap alignment was proposed to elucidate the efficiency enhancement of the hybrid photocatalysts.

TL;DR: This work provides a novel tactic to engineer sulfides as high efficiency and promising bifunctional oxygen electrocatalysts for advanced metal–air batteries.
Abstract: Limited by the sluggish four-electron transfer process, designing high-performance nonprecious electrocatalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) is urgently desired for efficient rechargeable Zn-air batteries (ZABs). Herein, the successful synthesis of porous nitrogen-doped cobalt pyrite yolk-shell nanospheres (N-CoS2 YSSs) is reported. Benefiting from the abundant porosity of the porous yolk-shell structure and unique electronic properties by nitrogen doping, the as-prepared N-CoS2 YSSs possess more exposed active surface, thus giving rise to superior activity for reversible oxygen electrocatalysis and outstanding cycling stability (more than 165 h at 10 mA cm-2) in ZABs, exceeding the commercial Pt/C and RuO2 hybrid catalysts. Moreover, the assembled ZABs, delivering a specific capacity of 640 mAh gZn-1, can be used for practical devices. This work provides a novel tactic to engineer sulfides as high efficiency and promising bifunctional oxygen electrocatalysts for advanced metal-air batteries.

TL;DR: The enhanced dissolution of cellulose is suggested to be mainly resulted from the preferential solvation of cations of the ILs by the aprotic polar solvents, and this has been supported by the conductivity measurements.

TL;DR: The mild and highly enantioselective synthesis of 2,3'-biindolyls via underexplored integration of C-H activation and alkyne cyclization using a unified chiral Rh(III) catalyst.
Abstract: Enantiomeric access to pentatomic biaryls is challenging due to their relatively low rotational barrier. Reported herein is the mild and highly enantioselective synthesis of 2,3′-biindolyls via und...
