TL;DR: In this paper, the transadmittance pole of a current differencing buffered amplifier (CDBA) element is used for realisation of an active-R integrator.
Abstract: Some new active-R integrator realisation schemes using the transadmittance pole of a current differencing buffered amplifier (CDBA) element are presented. The time constant (τ) is tunable by a single resistor whereas the integrator quality factor (Q) can be made very large with suitable realisability design. The active sensitivities of τ and Q are extremely low. As an application, a variable frequency sinusoid oscillator utilising the integrators in a loop has also been designed. Practical results using the hardware implementation and by PSPICE macromodel simulation are included for a frequency range of 1 MHz < f < 24 MHz.

06 Mar 2009TL;DR: A security model is proposed which imposes the concept of secrecy over privacy for text messages which combines cryptography, steganography, and along with that an extra layer of security has been imposed in between them.
Abstract: Of late in the field of Information Security, we have plenty of security tools which are made to protect the transmission of multimedia objects. But approaches for the security of text messages are comparatively less. In this paper, a security model is proposed which imposes the concept of secrecy over privacy for text messages. This model combines cryptography, steganography (taken as security layers) and along with that an extra layer of security has been imposed in between them. This newly introduced extra layer of security changes the format of normal encrypted message and the security layer followed by it embeds the encrypted message behind a multimedia cover object.

TL;DR: This study shows the efficacy of Memomet in the treatment of ADHD in children by observing that group treated with Memomet responded significantly compared to placebo.
Abstract: This study shows the efficacy of Memomet in the treatment of ADHD in children. Total 86 patients were recruited in the study. There were 56 children in the treated group and 30 in placebo treated group. The children were subjected to various test parameters like Yale’s behavioural scale for children with ADHD, Conner’s test and Malin’s test. Both Memomet and Placebo was given at the dose of 1 tsf twice daily for 4 months. At the end of the study period both the groups were evaluated for response to treatment. It was observed that group treated with Memomet responded significantly compared to placebo.

TL;DR: In this paper, a genetic algorithm-based simulation technique was carried out using DTA data with a fitness function, and a computer program was developed for the same, which was applied to the decomposition reactions of limestone and magnesite samples.
Abstract: Solid-state reactions take place by different rate-controlling heterogeneous processes. To find the appropriate kinetic model for a particular solid-state reaction, a genetic algorithm-based simulation technique was carried out using DTA data with a fitness function, and a computer program was developed for the same. The process was applied to the decomposition reactions of limestone and magnesite samples. It was observed that both the decomposition reactions mostly followed the Avrami-Erofeev kinetics model.
