TL;DR: The sensitivity analysis reveals that resource circulation, recycling rate, health and safety, and job opportunity are the most sensitive parameters at different levels of sensitivity.
Abstract: In this study, 12 parameters dictating the sustainability of Indian smart cities, identified using the literature review and field survey have been ranked using Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP) nested with three sustainability parameters as criteria. The analysis shows that resource circulation, recycling rate, water management, e-waste management, health and safety, and job opportunity are the most important parameters. The sensitivity analysis reveals that resource circulation, recycling rate, health and safety, and job opportunity are the most sensitive parameters at different levels of sensitivity. The results will be helpful to the policy-makers and the researchers in developing sustainable smart cities in India.

TL;DR: In this paper, the internal fields of an arbitrarily curved microstrip line are calculated using a sequential mode matching technique with piecewise circular discretization, and a dynamic co-ordinate system based on Serret-Frenet reference frame is developed.
Abstract: In the context of printed circuit design, microstrip interconnects pose a great challenge in terms of radiated emission, signal integrity, and intertrace interference. Curved and bent microstrip lines are integral part of such high-frequency circuit design. In this paper, internal fields of an arbitrarily curved microstrip line are calculated using a sequential mode matching technique with piecewise circular discretization. Transverse asymmetry of the electric field is observed due to unequal curvatures of the two side edges of the microstrip line. A dynamic co-ordinate system based on Serret–Frenet reference frame is developed. A simple transmission line model is formulated in this new co-ordinate system to calculate the radiated far fields from the line. The developed model is applied to compute radiation from a sinusoidal line as well as that of a planar spiral. The model is also applied to compute the radiation efficiencies from various microstrip bends and it is observed that circular bends exhibit minimum leakage amongst others. A sinusoidal line and a planar spiral are fabricated and measured. Results are shown to be in good agreement with those predicted by the analytical model.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors provide a summary of sorbent materials manufactured from waste materials with their different applications and a novel circular economy framework has been proposed based on the outcome of the literature review.
Abstract: Contaminants emerging from increasing anthropogenic activities are leading to environmental pollution that has profound effect on the ecosystem and human health. In recent years, new water pollutants have become source of significant concern. Traditional methods for wastewater treatment are inefficient and expensive to tackle such emerging contaminants. Alternative, inexpensive and novel techniques are imperative for wastewater treatment with higher efficiency. Adsorption is the most cost-effective technology for water treatment and hence has been applied widely as a low cost, competent, and eco-friendly method for wastewater treatment. Although water pollution is a big issue, another catastrophic problem on the anthropogenosphere is the management of solid waste. There are several examples where waste resources have been used as precursor for development of sorbent materials having wide range of applications. The resultant sorbents also vary in their structure and properties as some of them are classified as nanomaterials as well. The types of waste used as precursor vary widely such as industrial waste, biomass, polymer waste, and even electronic waste. Although the majority of the applications are focused on primarily on wastewater treatment, some of the reported literature has focused on other environmental hazards such as oil spillage, gas upgradation, and CO2 capture. This is an interesting approach where the end product of one anthropogenic activity is being modified for remediation of another anthropogenic activity. This is a perfect case where the loop further can be closed giving rise to a circular economic approach. This study provides a summary of sorbent materials manufactured from waste materials with their different applications. A novel circular economy framework has been proposed based on the outcome of the literature review. This study is anticipated to be helpful for researchers, policy-makers, governing bodies, and relevant stakeholders.

TL;DR: An algorithm for creating a corpus for opinion mining research field based on a corpus of reviews based on regular expressions and its possible applications in the field of Opinion Mining is proposed.
Abstract: This paper is meant for a heuristic approach for the refinements of corpus based on regular expressions and its possible applications in the field of Opinion Mining. Corpus which is the plural form of ‘corpora’ is nothing but the collection of linguistic data. And here the proposed work is based on a corpus of reviews; more specifically product reviews. The reviews are in the html files which are easily available in popular review sites like Cnet.com. The revolution in information and technologies has given a new era in the development of language industries. The versatility in technological development, along with the translations available in different languages has lead to use of this corpus for specific machine learning mechanism as well as various automatic translation applications. But the prime objective of researchers as well as the naive users is to give a fast developing technique of machine learning systems that should be both exact and effective. Most of the time it becomes a very tedious job to create exact dataset for the work due to the crisis of accurate corpus regarding respective research work. And that is why; we have proposed an algorithm for creating a corpus for opinion mining research field.
