TL;DR: In this article, the effect of varying underlap lengths on the RF figure of merits (FOMs) such as the total gate capacitance (CGG), cut-off frequency (fT), and maximum frequency of oscillation (fMAX) using non-quasi-static approach was studied.
Abstract: An Underlap Double Gate (U-DG) Symmetric Heterojunction AlGaN/GaN Metal Oxide Semiconductor High Electron Mobility Transistor (MOS-HEMT) with varying source and drain underlap lengths have been studied. The analog performance of the devices has been studied on the basis of parameters like transconductance (gm), transconductance generation factor (gm/ID) and intrinsic gain (gmR0). This paper also depicts the effect of varying underlap lengths on the RF figure of merits (FOMs) such as the total gate capacitance (CGG), cut-off frequency (fT) and maximum frequency of oscillation (fMAX) using non-quasi-static approach. Studies shows that the increase in underlap length in MOS-HEMT decreases the DIBL and Subthreshold Swing. U-DG AlGaN/GaN MOS-HEMT with 300 nm symmetric underlap device shows superior Power Output Efficiency (POE) of 41% compared to the 200 nm underlap structure and 100 nm underlap length with 35% and 33% respectively.

TL;DR: In this paper, a set of necessary and sufficient conditions for any two-qubit state to be a both-way non-zero quantum discord state is formulated and analyzed, where correlation tensor and local Bloch vector plays a role.
Abstract: Quantum discord plays a pragmatic role in analyzing nonclassical feature of quantum correlations beyond entanglement. It is used in several information processing protocols which lacks sufficient amount of entanglement to be used as a resource. We have provided with an analytical method of detecting quantum discord of an arbitrary two qubit state. We have formulated a set of necessary and sufficient conditions for any two qubit state to be a both-way non-zero quantum discord state. As quantum discord is asymmetric in nature, we have framed the set of if and only if conditions for a two qubit state to be classical-quantum as well for it to be quantum-classical. Interestingly, not only correlation tensor but also local Bloch vector(corresponding to the classical party) plays a role for detecting the state to be a positive discord state.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe a protocol by which one can secretly broadcast W-type state among three distant partners, and introduce a new kind of local cloning operation to generate two W- type states between these partners from a W type state initially shared by them.
Abstract: In this work we describe a protocol by which one can secretly broadcast W-type state among three distant partners. This work is interesting in the sense that we introduce a new kind of local cloning operation to generate two W- type states between these partners from a W-type state initially shared by them.

TL;DR: In this paper, scale invariant feature transform (SIFT) is utilized as a feature extraction algorithm, and equilibrium optimization is utilized to optimize the number of features to predict the transformation parameters toward image registration.
Abstract: Automatic and proficient image registration is a very energizing task. In this article, we propose optimized structural feature-based robust prediction models to predict the transformation parameters toward image registration. Here, scale invariant feature transform (SIFT) is utilized as a feature extraction algorithm, and equilibrium optimization (EO) is utilized to optimize the number of features. Down-sized feature vectors are used as input datasets of the backpropagation neural network (BPNN) and random forest (RF) to fabricate the prediction model. The present investigation exhibits that the proposed technique can robustly estimate different transformational parameters. The comparative analysis of the proposed technique with other methods is depicted in experimental results.

TL;DR: In this article, a beam steered linear array with unequal excitation amplitude and uniform inter-element spacing has been used to place nulls in the desired direction by using particle swarm optimization (PSO).
Abstract: In this paper, a novel method for null placements in beam steered linear array with unequal excitation amplitude and uniform inter-element spacing has been presented. The proposed method has been developed using Taylor one parameter distribution for linear array and particle swarm optimization (PSO). The beam steering has been achieved by maintaining a constant phase difference between two consecutive elements of the array. In order to place nulls in the desired direction excitation amplitude perturbation method using PSO has been considered. Search space of PSO has been defined using Taylor one parameter distribution for linear array. Within the defined search space PSO with the null placement objective. The proposed method has been tested for both single and wide null objectives. As example 12 elements linear array has been considered, for both single and wide null placement objective. Results show that, null level in the desired directions lies within 89% to 100% of desired null level of -60 dB, which in turn proves the effectiveness of the proposed method.
