TL;DR: A 10-bit SAR ADC using a variable window function to reduce the unnecessary switching in DAC network and achieves an SNDR of 60.97 dB and an FOM of 11 fJ/Conversion-step is presented.
Abstract: This paper presents a 10-bit SAR ADC using a variable window function to reduce the unnecessary switching in DAC network. At 10-MS/s and 1-V supply, the ADC consumes only 98 µW and achieves an SNDR of 60.97 dB, resulting in an FOM of 11 fJ/Conversion-step. The prototype is fabricated in a 0.18µm CMOS technology.

TL;DR: In this article, a color filter with mosaic pixel array arrangement is presented. The pixel array has four sub-pixels and the color of the sub-pixel of the pixel array is identical to that of another subpixel of another pixel array adjacent to the pixel arrays.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a color filter with mosaic pixel array arrangement. The color filter comprises a plurality of pixel arrays. The pixel array has four sub-pixels. The color of the sub-pixel of the pixel array is identical to that of another sub-pixel of another pixel array adjacent to the pixel array. The sub-pixels with same color form a sub-pixel group so that the area of a single color of the sub-pixel group is increased. Therefore, the adhesion strength between the sub-pixel group and the substrate can be augmented to avoid peeling from the substrate. According to the invention, the yield rate of the product will be raised and the chromaticity will be improved.

TL;DR: The system design includes an interoperable power adjustment technique based on the detected impedance, and the moving position of AGV can be comprehended so as to facilitate the adjustment of the output power from each transmission module in a more flexible way.
Abstract: This paper proposes a modular on-road wireless power transfer system with interoperable power adjustment mechanism. The paper is anticipated to enhance the capability of on-road charging during the movement of automated guided vehicles (AGV), by which the traveling mileage is increased, while the battery volume is decreased. The system design includes an interoperable power adjustment technique based on the detected impedance, and the moving position of AGV can be, hence, comprehended so as to facilitate the adjustment of the output power from each transmission module in a more flexible way. Through the investigation of on-road charging efficiency, all of coil magnetic analysis, misalignment charging evaluation, system stress simulation, and resonant characteristics investigation are performed. Experimental results gained from software simulation and hardware realization are beneficial for AGV charging applications.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present solutions to simplify and reduce the resources needed for manufacturing liquid crystal display modules, and propose a WOA display panel architecture, which requires fewer LCM resources or has no PCB.
Abstract: The present invention provides solutions to simplify and reduce the resources needed for manufacturing liquid crystal display modules. Failure of mid-process steps during mass production can result in significant costs. According to certain embodiments of the present invention, a WOA display panel architecture requires fewer LCM resources or has no PCB. Although the COG process and WOA method provide higher reliability in temporary LCD production, the costs associated with the space required for wires on the PCB or display panel for larger panel sizes remains expensive. Larger panel sizes also requires an increased number of driver ICs to construct a flat display panel. Similarly, the number of wires connecting each driver IC to a timing controller IC, gamma operational amplifier IC and DC-to-DC converter IC creates spacing problems that translate into higher production costs. These problems can be solved by certain embodiments of the present invention.
