TL;DR: In this article, the authors highlight the recent progress and current challenges of blue-emitting metallophosphors based on small molecules and their applications in phosphorescent OLEDs.
Abstract: Organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs) are on the lips of most electronic manufacturers currently. With good progress made in terms of production cost, efficiency and color output, OLEDs have found more applications recently as compared to those some years ago. Because of the possibility of obtaining long-lasting, durable and energy-efficient OLEDs, researchers devote much time and effort towards the improvement of OLED technology and development of advanced OLED products. Blue light-emitting materials, especially blue phosphorescent materials, are indispensable for full-color displays and white OLED lighting. Compared with green and red light-emitting materials and devices, the blue-emitting counterparts show a relatively inferior performance in terms of color purity, luminescence efficiency and device durability. In this perspective article, we highlight the recent progress and current challenges of blue-emitting metallophosphors based on small molecules and their applications in phosphorescent OLEDs.

TL;DR: These multifunctional organometallic polyyne polymers exhibit convenient structural variability as well as optical and electronic properties, which renders them important for use in different research domains as chemical sensors and sensor protectors, as converters for light/electricity signals, and as patternable precursors to magnetic metal alloy nanoparticles.
Abstract: This review article surveys the electronic and photophysical properties of conjugated organometallic polymers built upon the title compound and its related derivatives focussing primarily on systems investigated in our laboratories. The general structure of the polymers is (trans-bis(para-ethynylbenzene)bis(phosphine)platinum(II)-G)(n) where G is a conjugated group such as thiophene, fluorene, carbazole, substituted silole, quinone derivative, and metalloporphyrin residue, or a non-conjugated main-group moiety. Systems based on substituted phenylene units and other related fused rings are also discussed. The phosphine ligands are generally triethyl- or tri-n-butylphosphine groups. These trans-platinum(II) polymers and the corresponding model compounds are compared to the corresponding ortho-derivatives in the quinone series, and the newly prepared paracyclophane-containing polymers. For the porphyrin series, a comparison of fully conjugated oligomers exhibiting the general structure (trans-bis(para-ethynyl(zinc(porphyrin)))bis(phosphine)platinum(II))(n) (i.e., the C(6) H(4) group is absent from the main chain) will be made. This contribution also includes a description of the properties of the mononuclear chromophore itself, properties that define those of the polymers. Potential applications with regard to electronic and optical devices will be highlighted. These soluble and stable materials feature both the processing advantages of polymers and the functionality provided by the presence of metal centers. These multifunctional organometallic polyyne polymers exhibit convenient structural variability as well as optical and electronic properties, which renders them important for use in different research domains as chemical sensors and sensor protectors, as converters for light/electricity signals, and as patternable precursors to magnetic metal alloy nanoparticles.

TL;DR: In this article, a dimensionally graded perovskite formation approach was proposed to reduce the photovoltage loss through the simultaneous passivation of internal bulk defects and dimensional graded two-dimensional pervskite interface defects.
Abstract: Metal halide perovskite solar cells have demonstrated a high power conversion efficiency (PCE), and further enhancement of the PCE requires a reduction of the bandgap-voltage offset (WOC) and the non-radiative recombination photovoltage loss (ΔVOC,nr). Here, we report an effective approach for reducing the photovoltage loss through the simultaneous passivation of internal bulk defects and dimensionally graded two-dimensional perovskite interface defects. Through this dimensionally graded perovskite formation approach, an open-circuit voltage (VOC) of 1.24 V was obtained with a champion PCE of 21.54% in a 1.63 eV perovskite system (maximum VOC = 1.25 V, WOC = 0.38 V and ΔVOC,nr = 0.10 V); we further decreased the WOC to 0.326 V in a 1.53 eV perovskite system with a VOC of 1.21 V and a PCE of 23.78% (certified 23.09%). This approach is equally effective in achieving a low WOC (ΔVOC,nr) in 1.56 eV and 1.73 eV perovskite solar cell systems, and further leads to the substantially improved operational stability of perovskite solar cells. The use of a dimensionally graded 2D perovskite interface and passivation results in perovskite solar cells with very low photovoltage loss.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the relationship between turnover intention and positive affectivity and negative affectivity (NA), and the mediating roles of job satisfaction and affective commitment in those relationships.
Abstract: This paper investigates the relationships between turnover intention and positive affectivity (PA) and negative affectivity (NA), and the mediating roles of job satisfaction and affective commitment in those relationships Based on a sample of 279 Chinese managers, PA predicts turnover intention, and job satisfaction mediates the relationship However, NA is neither directly nor indirectly related to turnover intention
