TL;DR: In comparison with typical CH3NH3PbI3-based devices, these solar cells without encapsulation show greatly improved stability in humid air, which is attributed to the incorporation of thiocyanate ions in the crystal lattice.
Abstract: Poor stability of organic-inorganic halide perovskite materials in humid condition has hindered the success of perovskite solar cells in real applications since controlled atmosphere is required for device fabrication and operation, and there is a lack of effective solutions to this problem until now. Here we report the use of lead (II) thiocyanate (Pb(SCN)2) precursor in preparing perovskite solar cells in ambient air. High-quality CH3NH3PbI3-x(SCN)x perovskite films can be readily prepared even when the relative humidity exceeds 70%. Under optimized processing conditions, we obtain devices with an average power conversion efficiency of 13.49% and the maximum efficiency over 15%. In comparison with typical CH3NH3PbI3-based devices, these solar cells without encapsulation show greatly improved stability in humid air, which is attributed to the incorporation of thiocyanate ions in the crystal lattice. The findings pave a way for realizing efficient and stable perovskite solar cells in ambient atmosphere.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the pattern of crack coalescence and strength of a sandstone-like material containing two parallel inclined frictional cracks under uniaxial compression, with changing values of inclination of preexisting cracks α, bridge angle β (inclination between the inner tips of the two existing cracks), and the frictional coefficient μ on the surfaces of the preexexisting cracks.

TL;DR: This systematic review provides evidence that medial tibia stress syndrome, Achilles tend inopathy and plantar fasciitis were the main general RRMIs, while Achilles tendinopathy and patellofemoral syndrome were the most common RRMis for runners who participated in ultra-marathon races.
Abstract: Background
Musculoskeletal injuries occur frequently in runners and despite many studies about running injuries conducted over the past decades it is not clear in the literature what are the main running-related musculoskeletal injuries (RRMIs).

TL;DR: A transformation from time series to complex networks is introduced and the relative frequency of different subgraphs within that network is studied to characterize different types of continuous dynamics: periodic, chaotic, and periodic with noise.
Abstract: We introduce a transformation from time series to complex networks and then study the relative frequency of different subgraphs within that network The distribution of subgraphs can be used to distinguish between and to characterize different types of continuous dynamics: periodic, chaotic, and periodic with noise Moreover, although the general types of dynamics generate networks belonging to the same superfamily of networks, specific dynamical systems generate characteristic dynamics When applied to discrete (map-like) data this technique distinguishes chaotic maps, hyperchaotic maps, and noise data
