TL;DR: This article conducted a meta-analysis of 56 studies (58 samples) conducted in 28 countries and found that market orientation is a generic determinant of firm performance, however, stronger effects were found for studies set in large, mature markets and when market orientation was measured using Kohli, Jaworski and Kumar's (1993) MARKOR scale.
Abstract: Quantitative evidence drawn from a meta-analysis of 56 studies (58 samples) conducted in 28 countries reveals that market orientation is a generic determinant of firm performance. However, stronger effects were found for studies set in large, mature markets and when market orientation was measured using Kohli, Jaworski and Kumar’s (1993) MARKOR scale. The meta-analysis also revealed that the value of a market orientation weakens in proportion to the cultural distance separating the home market from the U.S. This study thus extends previous research by (1) providing evidence of measurement moderators that inhibit the generalization of results obtained from studies using different scales and performance variables, (2) establishing benchmark effect sizes for specific regions around the world, and (3) revealing that the managerial value of a market orientation is significantly affected by the cultural and economic characteristics of the host country.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors provide a comprehensive bibliography and propose a method of classifying academic literature on customer relationship management (CRM), and provide a method for classifying that literature.
Abstract: Purpose – To review the academic literature on customer relationship management (CRM), provide a comprehensive bibliography and propose a method of classifying that literature.Design/methodology/approach – A range of online databases were searched to provide a comprehensive listing of journal articles on CRM. Six hundred articles were identified and reviewed for their direct relevance to CRM. Two hundred and five articles were subsequently selected. Each of these articles was further reviewed and classified. The review and classification process was independently verified. All papers were allocated to the main and sub‐categories based on the major focus of each paper.Findings – Papers and research on CRM falls into five broad categories (CRM – General, Marketing, Sales, Service and Support, and IT and IS) and a further 34 sub‐categories. The most popular areas covered by the papers lay in the sub‐category of CRM management, planning and strategy; and CRM general, concept, and study followed by papers in s...

TL;DR: This study shows that Au NPs impose remarkable p-doping effects to the MoS2 transistors without degrading their electrical characteristics.
Abstract: We report a controllable wet method for effective decoration of 2-dimensional (2D) molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) layers with Au nanoparticles (NPs). Au NPs can be selectively formed on the edge sites or defective sites of MoS2 layers. The Au-MoS2 nano-composites are formed by non-covalent bond. The size distribution, morphology and density of the metal nanoparticles can be tuned by changing the defect density in MoS2 layers. Field effect transistors were directly fabricated by placing ion gel gate dielectrics on Au-decorated MoS2 layers without the need to transfer these MoS2 layers to SiO2/Si substrates for bottom gate devices. The ion gel method allows probing the intrinsic electrical properties of the as-grown and Au-decorated MoS2 layers. This study shows that Au NPs impose remarkable p-doping effects to the MoS2 transistors without degrading their electrical characteristics.
