Abstract: An internet router is implemented as a network fabric of fabric routers and links. The internet router receives data packets from trunk lines or other internet links and analyzes header information in the data packets to route the data packets to output internet links. The line interface also analyzes the header to define a fabric path through the router fabric. The internet packets are broken into flits which are transferred through the router according to a wormhole routing protocol. Flits are stored in fabric routers at storage locations assigned to virtual channels corresponding to destination internet links. The virtual channels and links within the fabric define virtual networks in which congestion in one virtual network is substantially nonblocking to data flow through other virtual networks. Arbitration is performed at each fabric router to assign packets to virtual channels and to assign virtual channels to output fabric links. A virtual channel is enabled for possible assignment to an output fabric link upon receipt of an indication that an input buffer is available at the next fabric router of the path.

Abstract: The invention discloses a method for controlling the selection of a communication function or a non-communication function of a mobile phone, and provides a mobile phone with the controlled communication function. This includes: setting a communication function selection item, adding a communication function control part; and under the control of the mobile phone control part, a subscriber can select the mobile phone communication function is whether at activated state or at closed state. When the communication function of a mobile phone is at an activated state, the mobile phone is connected with a network. When the communication function of a mobile phone is at a closed state, the mobile phone is not connected with a network. Therefore, the invention gives convenience to a mobile phone subscriber to activate the communication function to connect with a network or to close the communication function without connecting to a network. In this way, a subscriber can better select and use various communication functions and non-communication functions of a mobile phone.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for controlling uplink transmission power in a handover region by a UE in communication with a Node B using an FCS scheme. The UE stores TPC commands received for a specific duration from a plurality of cells in an active set, if the UE enters in the handover region during communication with a current best cell. If a next best cell is selected from the plurality of the cells, the UE determines a transmission power offset by comparing TPC commands from the current best cell with TPC commands from the next best cell for the specific duration at a time point where the best cell is changed from the current best cell to the next best cell. The UE transmits initial transmission power for the next best cell at a transmission power level determined considering the transmission power offset.

Abstract: A method in which a border device (3) of a destination network located outside of a recipient personal computer (2) or network intercepts a performance measurement packet for a specified recipient in order to relieve problems that arise when performance metric packets are interpreted as harmful to a recipient network or server. A border device (3) intercepts the performance metric packet and returns requested information to the sender (1) while masking the source address of the response as the original destination address of the original recipient (2) or the network number of that recipient. The sender (1) of the packet receives ample information on the performance metrics to the perimeter of the recipient (2) for use in its application and the recipient network is protected as well by masking the IP addresses in use on its network. The method is applicable in both existing performance metric protocols and is adaptable to a new protocol which would also additionally assist in identifying the purpose of the performance metric packets and protecting the destination network from outside interference. The number of performance metrics queried by some applications could also be reduced through the use of CIDR network block tables. These tables would be referenced to determine if a previous response was cached from this network block or to allow for a longer cache time-out due to the static nature of CIDR blocks.

The implementation method of the present invention can resolve better the authorization authentication and controlled problem of the sender and receiver joining in the multicast, and identify the user joining in or leaving the multicast group expediently, stop the user's group member identification on it's own initiative through the user line out; and won't affect forward efficiency.

In this invention, on the basis of coherent cumulating and non-coherent cumulating completed by system, according to a difference between power levels of direct path and non-direct on power delay distributing, and by using difference between τ/σ of the LOS power delay distributing and τ/σ of the LOS power delay distributing (τand σ is average delay and root mean square delay spread of multi-path power distributing,respectively), it is made for distinguishing the LOS from NLOS. By using inter-path power difference on same power delay distributing, the decision be made, comprising: whether ratio of max-path and local max-path is greater than threshold K (when no local max-path exist, it be replaced with θtimes average noise power); whether difference between time of first path arrival and time of max-path arrival is less than given value, if the both decision results are yes, the LOS be decided, contrarily, the NLOS be decided. This method can simply be achieved, and facilely incorporate with current system.

Abstract: A data network system implemented through adding IPN servers and HTTPex servers on the traditional data network system; said data network system designates a home IPN server for each network user, and each IPN server is mapped to one or more attributing HTTPex servers. The servers are designed to achieve logon and HTTPex service ID application task for network users; a plurality of IPN servers may be deployed in the network, and the number of them depends on the number of users and the processing capacity of each IPN server. The HTTPex servers are designed to exchange data between the users and transfer billing information to relevant billing devices. A method for data exchange in above system comprises the following steps: each user is registered to an IPN, the user logs on the IPN server, and the application data packets are exchanged between the user and other users through the HTTPex servers. Owing that the present invention utilizes common IPN servers and HTTPex servers to achieve data exchange between users, direct communication between upper layer applications of users can be accomplished, not confined by user types, such as intranet users or community network users.

The optic has a central optical axis, an anterior face, an opposing posterior face and a peripheral edge between the faces. The peripheral edge has one or more curved or angled surfaces that reduce glare within the IOL. For instance, a rounded transition surface on the anterior side of the peripheral edge diffuses the intensity of reflected light, or a particular arrangement of straight edge surfaces refracts the light so as not to reflect, or does not reflect at all. The intersection of the peripheral edge and at least one of the anterior face and the posterior face, preferably both of such faces, forms a peripheral corner located at a discontinuity between the peripheral edge and the intersecting face or faces. The present IOLs inhibit cell growth from the eye in front of or in back of the optic and reduce glare obtained in the eye in which the IOL is located.

Here, the positioning management subsystem is connected with both of the UEs and the application client. The positioning management subsystem further comprises a management unit for controlling information interaction course inside the positioning management subsystem and that between the positioning management subsystem and the outside, and a positioning information detection unit connected with said managing unit and used for acquiring user's position information and detecting change of user's position information. A method for implementing user positioning with the above system is disclosed also in the present invention. User positioning function in WLAN can be implemented with this system and method, and a high user positioning precision can be provided.

This invention efficiently enhances the capacity of the system and the quality of serving, which ensures the benefit of the user.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for determining encryption algorithm used in security communication based on Mobile Country Code (MCC) number. In this method, a Mobile Country Code (MCC) number list is preset in a Core Network (CN), and all the MCC numbers of those countries or service providers adopting the same self-developed encryption algorithms as those adopted by the homeland are stored in this MCC number list. When a User Equipment (UE) is calling or being called, the UE sends an International Mobile Subscriber Identifier (IMSI) information of the current subscriber to the CN, and the CN parses the information and extracts the MCC number after receiving the IMSI information. The CN compares the extracted MCC number of the current subscriber with elements of the MCC number list one by one, if the MCC number of the current subscriber is identical with a certain MCC number in the MCC number list, the CN selects the domestic self-developed encryption algorithm; if the MCC number of the current subscriber is not identical with any MCC number in the MCC number list, the CN selects an available standard encryption algorithm for the security communication. The CN sends the UEA of the selected encryption algorithm to an access network; then the access network sends the UEA of the selected encryption algorithm to the UE. The present method not only allows the coexistence of standard encryption algorithms and self-developed encryption algorithm, but also simplifies the process of encryption algorithm selection. Accordingly, the subscriber interest and service quality is guaranteed.

At last, if an event happens, a rate adjustment controller sends a rate adjustment demand according to type of the event to adjust the uplink and/or downlink transmission rate.

The present invention also discloses a system for implementing the above method of adaptive weighting Space-time Transmit Diversity. In term of the method and structure, the transmission powers can be dynamically adjusted in adaptive weighting manner, in order to boost system performance gain.

When adjusting the local recovery clock, taking the ideal phase difference value as a center, the phase difference is divided into different segments. For segments where the ideal phase difference value is located, the local recovery clock follows the phase difference with a minimum changing rate; and for segments farther apart from the ideal phase difference value, the local recovery clock follows the phase difference with a faster changing rate. The invention concerns non-error code and vibration minimization at the same time, so vibration tolerance is better raised, vibration transfer characteristics are very good, and net output vibration indicators at low band and high band parts is improved.

Abstract: The invention discloses a CDMA soft handover method which can be used in present code division multiple access systems. The invention preserves current soft handover mechanisms triggered by a pilot signal strength variation measured by a mobile station. At the same time it introduces a communication quality indication parameter—continuous error frame indication measured by mobile station. Both function together to launch and to activate system soft handover. Without changing present soft handover processes, soft handover performance is improved, possibility of lost conversation is decreased and communication quality is raised.

Said interoperability proxy comprises at least a interoperability proxy unit that performs protocol conversion; said interoperability proxy unit comprises a packet-receiving module, a packet-forwarding module, and a protocol-converting module that performs protocol conversion between networks utilizing different protocols. During interoperability between networks utilizing different protocols, the interoperability proxy converts the packet into the protocol that can be identified by the interoperability network, thus it achieves port convergence function and enables the network environment to intercommunicate with networks utilizing different protocols.

Abstract: A method for multi-path TDM data transmission includes: applying a plurality of high-speed serial lines to connect a center switch network board to a plurality of service boards; multiplexing multi-path TDM data from the center switch network board at transmitting side, and transmitting TDM data multiplexed in batch via one of the high-speed serial lines to one of the service boards; at receiving side, serial receiving the TDM data multiplexed and de-multiplexing the TDM data multiplexed to multiple TDM paths. The TDM bridge connector includes: a TDM high-speed serial transmitting adaptive circuit, and a TDM high-speed serial receiving adaptive circuit and a clock control circuit. The invention increases greatly transmission capacity and looses the requirement of clock synchronization, so the system reliability is greatly raised.

When making a decision on each symbol of the user, calculating reliability coefficient of a decision result on the symbol of the user according to the weighting algorithm based on Bayes rule; weighting regenerated signal of the symbol of the user with the reliability coefficient. During process of MAI estimating and removing, obtaining the MAI on the expected user from weighted regenerated signal of other users in chip level; and then setting a weight value, weighting the MAI with the weight value. Finally, removing weighted MAI from received signal, which means partially removing MAI produced by other users on the expected user. At the same time, the present invention also discloses a double weighting PIC method with simplified algorithm, which transfers weighting in chip level to weighting in symbol level, replacing a Hyperbolic tangent decision with a piecewise linear decision method or a look-up table method.

The main control module orderly matches the data required to be processed further to determine which actual server will process the data, and to establish the list of the stream rules between the processing module of the client port and the processing module of the server port.

The circuit comprises: a power supply; a delay comparator, which one input terminal inputs a sine wave signal and another input terminal inputs a compare voltage, which output terminal outputs a clock signal with a defined duty-ratio; and a converting circuit, converting the clock signal to a DC level, which input terminal is connected to the output terminal of the delay comparator, which output terminal is connected to the another input terminal of the delay comparator. With the circuit, the duty-ratio of a clock signal is no larger abrupt change, so burden of the digital signal processing is decreased. Consequently, the adjusting circuit satisfies requirements: high traffic, low error rate and high stability of the clock signal duty-ratio.

Abstract: A method and system for operating the videoconferencing service, wherein multipoint control units are connected to videoconferencing terminals via communication networks, charaterized in that a service center, which is connected to multipoint control units via computer networks, processes the request of videoconferencing service, deploying the resource of multipoint control unit, as well as managing and driving the videoconferencing service. Also a corresponding service center employed in videoconferencing service is disclosed, which comprising a web server for interfacing the subcribers in the networks and receiving the request of the subscriber, and a service processing module for receiving the subscriber's information from the web server and controlling the multipoint control units via computer networks.

Abstract: A security authentication for PC client is provided according to the present invention, wherein said method includes: PC client sends a registry request to a server with a user ID and a password; The server makes first authentication based on the user ID and password, if the authentication succeeds, a field used for re-authentication will be created and returned to the PC client through an authentication successful message; When initiating a call, the PC client transmits the user ID and the field used for re-authentication acquired when registered to media gateway controller; The media gateway controller transfers the user ID and field used for re-authentication to the server, which makes second authentication according to the user ID and the field used for the second authentication, if the authentication fails, the call will be rejected, otherwise the call will be accepted and returns information of the called subscriber. The present invention successfully associates call and subscriber registry together, preferably solves security problems of the having registered legal PC subscriber and largely improves security performance when the subscriber uses the resources.

Abstract: A protection method for forward power saturation in a CDMA communication system and its power control apparatus are provided. The power control apparatus includes a base station (BS) transmitting power control unit, a base station (BS) transceiver and a transmitting power control (TPC) instruction counter. The mobile station includes a mobile station (MS) transceiver, a quality detector for a received signal, a TPC instruction generator. Through a saturation decision process and a saturation protection process, a limited power is distributed to a subscriber whose communication quality actually deteriorates and a subscriber whose communication quality deteriorates severely due to deep fading is rapidly compensated. Meanwhile, the protection method and control apparatus are capable of balancing the power and providing average power distribution among subscribers who need power increasing urgently.
