TL;DR: In this article, the authors extend the literature by introducing a new category of factors, "PE investor characteristics", and test if this category has a significant effect on the choice of exit method.
Abstract: The choice of exit method is an inevitable decision faced by entrepreneurs and private equity (PE) investors. TL;DR: The authors examines the nature of such alternative corporations and some of the ethical issues and challenges that they raise, focusing especially on one not-for-profit corporation in Nova Scotia, New Dawn Enterprises, and the priest/businessman who has been the driving force behind it.

This article examines the nature of such alternative corporations and some of the ethical issues and challenges that they raise. It focuses especially on one “not‐for‐profit corporation” in Nova Scotia, New Dawn Enterprises, and the priest/businessman who has been the driving force behind it.
