TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reviewed and analyzed the phenomenon of employer branding and its impact on the company performance and found that realistic job previews, perceived organizational support, equity in reward administration, organizational prestige, organizational trust, leadership of top management, psychological contract obligations, and corporate social responsibility influence employer branding, which in turn impact non-financial and financial performance.
Abstract: This study reviewed and analysed the phenomenon of employer branding. We began with a review of recent research in employer branding. Next, drawing the theoretical knowledge from OB, HRM, and marketing, a framework is developed depicting the antecedents of employer branding and its impact on the company performance. For this, primary data were collected administering a questionnaire survey on 347 top-level executives in 209 companies in India, and secondary data were collected on financial performance. The results revealed that realistic job previews, perceived organizational support, equity in reward administration, perceived organizational prestige, organizational trust, leadership of top management, psychological contract obligations, and corporate social responsibility influence employer branding, which in turn impact non-financial and financial performance of companies. Furthermore, leadership of top management is the most potent predictor of employer branding. Greater deviation of the existing state from the ideal state of antecedents adversely affects employer branding. Management can use this framework for developing strategy towards implementation of employer branding.

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of jute as a natural fiber reinforcement on the setting and hydration behavior of cement has been investigated using a variety of analytical techniques including thermal, infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and free lime estimation by titration.
Abstract: The present investigation deals with the effect of jute as a natural fiber reinforcement on the setting and hydration behavior of cement. The addition of jute fiber in cement matrix increases the setting time and standard water consistency value. The hydration characteristics of fiber reinforced cement were investigated using a variety of analytical techniques including thermal, infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and free lime estimation by titration. Through these analyses it was demonstrated that the hydration kinetics of cement is retarded with the increase in jute contents in cement matrix. A model has been proposed to explain the retarded hydration kinetics of jute fiber reinforced cement composites. The prolonged setting of these fiber reinforced cement composites would be beneficial for applications where the premixed cement aggregates are required to be transported from a distant place to the construction site.

TL;DR: In this article, a single nonlocal beam model is developed and applied to investigate the flap-wise bending-vibration characteristics of a rotating nanocantilever, which is found as blades of a nanoturbine.
Abstract: In this article, a single nonlocal beam model is developed and applied to investigate the flapwise bending–vibration characteristics of a rotating nanocantilever. A rotating nanocantilever is found as blades of a nanoturbine. Employing Eringen’s nonlocal elasticity theory, the governing differential equations for the abovementioned problem are derived. Differential quadrature method (DQM) is being utilized and nondimensional nonlocal frequencies are obtained. The effects of the small-scale, angular velocity and hub radius are examined and discussed. It is shown that small-scale effects play a significant role in the vibration response of a rotating nanocantilever. Further as rotational angular velocity increases, the small-scale effect on the frequency response is increased for first modes of vibration while it is decreased for higher modes of vibration.
