TL;DR: In this article, the Rodez Permian basin was studied and two poles for the formations attributed to the Thuringian were found: 48.0 °N, 166.1 °E, K = 453, A95 = 2.7 ° and 52.9 °.
Abstract: The palaeomagnetic study of the Rodez Permian basin yields two poles for the formations attributed to the Thuringian: 48.0 °N, 166.1 °E, K = 453, A95 = 2.7 ° and 52.4 °N, 165.9 °E, K = 68, A95 = 3.9 °. Comparison of these new data with those previously acquired in the neighbouring Permian basins shows that the post-Saxonian rotation already known in the Saint-Affrique basin very likely affected also the Rodez and Brive basins.

TL;DR: In this article, an anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS) and structural study of high-grade metamorphic and ophiolitic rocks from the Braganca Massif is presented to contribute to the debate concerning the identification of transport directions during the closure of the Variscan Ocean.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors report on a recent progress in single-mode and multi-mode edge-emitting diodes and conclude that single emitter diode is the most effective solution even for multi-kWatt systems pumping.
Abstract: Higher reliability and power efficiency achieved with low-demanding cooling make single emitter diodes a more
effective pump source than monolithic laser diode arrays. Continuously improving performance and increasing
brightness of single emitter pumps are accompanied with a steady reduction of cost of pumping (dollar-per-watt).
Performance advantages do not compromise reliability of the pumps. These features ensure that single emitter diodes are
the most effective solution even for multi-kWatt systems pumping. Here we report on a recent progress in single-mode
and multi-mode edge-emitting diodes.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented a highly efficient (>20%) CW second harmonic generation in PPKTP and PPLN crystals using a high power (>24W) single-frequency source.
Abstract: In this work we represent a highly efficient (>20%) CW second harmonic generation in PPKTP and PPLN crystals As a fundamental source we used a high power (>24W) single-frequency ( 20% for PPLN and >7% for PPKTP was demonstrated We also demonstrate a possibility of single mode fiber delivery for this SHG source with excellent beam quality (M2 <11) Pump power dependency of conversion efficiency and other SHG characteristics for PPLN and PPKTP would be presented and compared

TL;DR: In this article, a small-scale experimental braided river system has been reproduced and it was shown that for constant input fluxes of mass, transfer by the river evolves towards a steady state in which mass fluxes at each end of the reach remain constant although instable braiding remains inside the box.
Abstract: A small-scale experimental braided river system has been reproduced. This experiment shows that: (i) destabilisation of the river occurs through sediment feeding; (ii) for constant input fluxes of mass, transfer by the river evolves towards a steady state in which mass fluxes at each end of the reach remain constant although instable braiding remains inside the box; (iii) instability of the braided river remains both when the system aggrades or degrades.
