TL;DR: In this paper, slow pyrolysis of the straw and stalk of the rapeseed plant was investigated within a tubular reactor under the conditions of static atmosphere, varying temperatures of 350°, 450°, 550° and 650°C and at heating rates of 10°C min−1 and 30°Cmin−1.

TL;DR: Individuals with major depressive disorder had less differentiated emotional experiences than did healthy participants, but only for negative emotions, above and beyond the effects of emotional intensity and variability.
Abstract: Some individuals have very specific and differentiated emotional experiences, such as anger, shame, excitement, and happiness, whereas others have more general affective experiences of pleasure or discomfort that are not as highly differentiated. Considering that individuals with major depressive disorder (MDD) have cognitive deficits for negative information, we predicted that people with MDD would have less differentiated negative emotional experiences than would healthy people. To test this hypothesis, we assessed participants’ emotional experiences using a 7-day experience-sampling protocol. Depression was assessed using structured clinical interviews and the Beck Depression Inventory-II. As predicted, individuals with MDD had less differentiated emotional experiences than did healthy participants, but only for negative emotions. These differences were above and beyond the effects of emotional intensity and variability.

TL;DR: The effect of dye-assisting chemicals frequently used in the reactive dyeing process (i.e. chloride, carbonate and sulphate sodium salts) on the kinetics, reaction mechanism and efficiency of advanced oxidation processes has been discussed in this article.
Abstract: The effect of dye-assisting chemicals frequently used in the reactive dyeing process (i.e. chloride, carbonate and sulphate sodium salts) on the kinetics, reaction mechanism and efficiency of advanced oxidation processes has been discussed. The review begins with a brief description of various advanced oxidation processes, their chemistry and major application ranges, and continues with recent case studies reported for reactive dye degradation with advanced oxidation processes. Finally, experimentally-observed effects of dye-assisting chemicals on advanced oxidation rates have been kinetically ranked and compared to the inhibition rates of theoretically predicted advanced oxidation processes.

TL;DR: In general, the forecasting performance of RBF is found to be superior to the other two ANN techniques and a time series model in terms of the selected performance criteria.
Abstract: Forecasts of future events are required in many of the activities associated with the planning and operation of the components of a water resource system. For the hydrologic component, there is a need for both short- and long-term forecasts of river flow events in order to optimize the system or to plan for future expansion or reduction. This paper presents the comparison of different artificial neural network (ANN) techniques in short- and long-term continuous and intermittent daily streamflow forecasting. The studies in modelling the intermittent series are quite limited because of the complexity of fitting models in to these series. The available conventional models necessitate the adjustment of numerous parameters for calibration. Three different ANN techniques, namely, feed-forward back propagation (FFBP), generalized regression neural networks, and radial basis function-based neural networks (RBF) are applied to continuous and intermittent river flow data of two Turkish rivers for short-range and lo...
