TL;DR: An up-to-date survey of localization techniques for UASNs is provided, where a large number of techniques have been proposed recently and pointed out the open issues.
Abstract: Underwater acoustic sensor networking is the enabling technology for a wide range of applications including naval surveillance, oil platform monitoring, earthquake and tsunami forewarning, climate and ocean observation, and water pollution tracking. Underwater sensor nodes with sensing and communication capabilities form the underwater acoustic sensor network. Localizing the underwater sensor nodes is one of the fundamental tasks for UASNs where the location information can be used in data tagging, routing, and node tracking. Localization for UASNs is an active research topic where a large number of techniques have been proposed recently. This article provides an up-to-date survey of these techniques while pointing out the open issues.

01 Sep 2016TL;DR: The proposed new QFD approach is the first study that determines the importance of customer requirements (CRs), the relations between CRs and DRs and the correlations among DRs via HFLTS.
Abstract: Display Omitted A new hesitant fuzzy MCDM method based on linguistic term sets is proposed for QFD.The proposed method is relatively more efficient than the existing QFD approaches. It can aggregate the linguistic assessments of more than one decision maker. The relations between CRs&DRs and correlations among DRs via HFLTS are considered.A sensitivity analysis for robustness check is realized. Computer workstation selection is a multiple criteria decision making problem that is generally based on vague linguistic assessments, which represent human judgments and their hesitancy. In this paper, a new fuzzy quality function deployment (QFD) approach is used to effectively determine the design requirements (DRs) of a computer workstation. Hesitant fuzzy linguistic term sets (HFLTS) are innovatively employed to capture the hesitancy of the experts in this approach. More precisely, the proposed new QFD approach is the first study that determines the importance of customer requirements (CRs), the relations between CRs and DRs and the correlations among DRs via HFLTS. Additionally, HFLTS based Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods are utilized in the computational steps to select the best computer workstation. A real industrial application is carried out to validate the implementation of the proposed approach.

TL;DR: In-situ alcoholysis of soybean oil with methanol, ethanol,n-propanol, andn-butanol was investigated, as well as the extraction of the oil with these solvents as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: In-situ alcoholysis of soybean oil with methanol, ethanol,n-propanol, andn-butanol was investigated, as well as the extraction of the oil with these solvents, to explain the progress ofin-situ alcoholysis and to determine the parameters that affect this reaction Because methanol is a poor solvent for soybean oil, the amount of oil dissolved in methanol and converted to methyl esters was low afterin-situ alcoholysis Ethyl, propyl, and butyl esters of soybean fatty acids could be obtained in high yields fromin-situ alcoholysis of soybean oil with these alcoholsIn-situ alcoholysis proceeded through dissolution and alcoholysis of triglycerides successively, and the overall reaction rate was determined by the extraction and alcoholysis rates The parameters, affecting yield and purity of the product esters, were mainly those that favor extraction rate
