TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined some distinctive characteristics of popular English neologisms and their actualization in everyday communication of native speakers of the English language, and made an attempt to reveal the underlying causes of current changes and propose an interpretation of the results received.
Abstract: The article focuses on analysis of nominative processes and lexical change occurring in Eng-lish at the present stage of language development. Lexical system, being the most flexible and accessible, constantly evolves with the development of society embracing new lexical means and thus reflecting current social trends. New recently coined English words are the object of this article. The material included neologisms which have been added to oxford online dictionaries since 2010. Most of these lexical units have been selected for Oxford Word of the Year shortlists, compiled on the basis of their frequent use and significance in a particular year. A brief review of theoretical approaches to studying neologisms and the factors influencing their coinage is accompanied by comparative studies of statistical data conducted by linguists in late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. This paper examines some distinctive characteristics of popular English neologisms and their actualization in everyday communication of native speakers of the English language. The research consisted of two stages: analytical, which included lexical analysis of neologisms, and interactive presenting an informant survey. A number of generalized thematic groups / functioning spheres have been identified in the semantic aspect during the initial stage. The degree of actual usage of these linguistic units by native English speakers has been determined in the survey of informants. The analysis of survey results has been performed and the attitude of native speakers to new and emerging words has been considered. An attempt has been made to reveal the underlying causes of the current changes and to propose an interpretation of the results received.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors developed a dynamic model and studied the dynamics of an amorphous steel core single-phase transformer (TAS) operating at an arbitrary external load.
Abstract: The use of amorphous ferromagnetic alloys in transformer construction allows reducing no-load losses by 4 times or more. At the same time, the magnetization curve of amorphous steel has a shape that is close to a rectangle, which significantly distorts the shape of the no-load current curve. This is accompanied by inrush current increases when a saturated transformer is turned on. However, there are no publications devoted to this issue in the periodicals. The purpose of this work is to develop a dynamic model and study the dynamics of an amorphous steel core single-phase transformer (TAS) operating at an arbitrary external load. The calculation of the electrical circuit was made by a one-step method based on a modified 2nd-order Rosenbrock formula, and the circuit parameters were calculated by the finite element method. We have developed dynamic models of the single-phase transformer based on the use of controlled current sources and EMF and implemented in the MatLab Simulink SimPowerSystem. These models allowed us to take into account the effect produced by the practically rectangular shape of the magnetization curve of the amorphous steel used to make the core on the operation of a saturated transformer. It has been established that the inrush current occurring when a saturated TAS is switched on can exceed the rated current tenfold. A significant distortion of the current curve has been detected in the first periods even when the transformer operates at nominal load. The developed models can be used to study the operation of a transformer at an arbitrary load. These models can be developed further. It has been found that a significant effect on the transformer operation is produced by the shape of the amorphous steel magnetization curve.

TL;DR: In this article, the equations of motion for a charged particle in an electric field featuring a stationary and an oscillating component are considered for the case where the force of friction is linear in the particle velocity.
Abstract: The equations of motion for a charged particle in an electric field featuring a stationary and an oscillating component are considered for the case where the force of friction is linear in the particle velocity. The averaging of these equations over the period of field oscillations is legitimate under some specific conditions. The most general expression for an additional stationary force acting on the particle under these conditions is derived, and the limiting values of this force are found. Applications of the results obtained in the present study are considered. Such applications include the use of pulsed currents in the electrochemical dimensional treatment of materials.

English Abstract: The article deals with the special economic zones (SEZs) of the Russian Federation, which became an important element of the state national innovation system. SEZ are limited territories in the regions with the special legal status in comparison with the rest of the territories and favorable economic conditions for Russian and foreign entrepreneurs. The main purpose of creation of special economic zones is coping with strategic tasks connected with the development of the whole state or its territories, such as foreign trade, economic, social, regional and scientific-technical ones.

TL;DR: In this paper, the reduction of the noise and vibrations via application of multiphase machines (m > 3) is conditioned by a decrease in tangential forces caused by pulsations of the electromagnetic torque of the motor.
Abstract: The reduction of the noise level and vibrations of a modern electrical drive are very significant problems during its development. The methods for solving this problem in the context of traditional threephase electromechanical systems are rather well studied but, however, have exhausted themselves in many respects. One promising variant for designing alternating-current asynchronous and synchronous motor drives with enhanced vibronoise characteristics is constructing it based on an actuating motor with an increased number of phases. On the one hand, the reduction of the noise and vibrations via application of multiphase machines (m > 3) is conditioned by a decrease in tangential forces caused by pulsations of the electromagnetic torque of the motor. This is connected with the fact that an increase in the number of phases of the stator winding causes the sparseness of the harmonic composition of the field in the air gap and the elimination of asynchronous harmonics from it with a relative increase in synchronous ones. On the other hand, an increase in the number of phases substantially expands the possibilities for noise level reduction because of a decrease in radial magnetic forces acting between the stator and the rotor and causing dynamic deformations of the stator ring. Techniques for optimization of vibronoise characteristics of the asynchronous and synchronous motor drives and realization of their control system structure are proposed. Results of investigations of multiphase electromechanical systems that show the efficiency of the proposed solutions are given.
