TL;DR: The authors show how mutual 2-asummobility can be utilized for the testing of isobaricity of threshold functions containing no more than seven variables.
Abstract: A simple algorithm for testing the 2-summability of Boolean functions is presented in this note. The concept of asummobility has been extended and the idea of "mutual 2-asummability" has been introduced. The authors show how mutual 2-asummobility can be utilized for the testing of isobaricity of threshold functions containing no more than seven variables.

Abstract: Some important primary structures have been studied and described from the chromities of Sukinda Valley in Orissa, India. The structures include primary layering, ‘Ball and Pillow’ structures, and cross laminations. From the similarity of the structures and texture of the chromitites with the sedimentary rocks, it is presumed that the chromities were formed by magmatic sedimentation under the influence of gravity.

TL;DR: In this article, a pseudo-metric space for functions of bounded variation relative to a set is introduced, and it is shown that every closed sphere in ( X, d ) is complete.
Abstract: The present paper on functions of bounded variation relative to a set has its point of departure in the work of R. L. Jeffery [10]. Below we recapitulate Jeffery's class U of functions of bounded variation relative to a set, we state and prove a number of preliminary lemmas and theorems, we introduce a suitable pseudo- metric space ( X, d ) of such functions, and the analogous space , and prove that ( X, d ) is separable, that every closed sphere in ( X, d ) is compact and that is complete. These results extend known results of C. R. Adams, and C. R. Adams and A. P. Morse for the space of usual BV functions.

TL;DR: In this paper, a symmetric and accurate triangular waveform generating circuit is described, where a single constant current generator is used to alternately charge and discharge a capacitor in a linear manner.
Abstract: A symmetric and accurate triangular waveform generating circuit is described. A simple approach in maintaining the symmetry and linearity of triangular waveform is made by using a single constant current generator to alternately charge and discharge a capacitor in a linear manner. This features perfect symmetry of the waveform over a wide frequency range while maintaining amplitude constancy. The circuit also provides square waveforms of equal on and off periods with rise and fall times of the order of a few nanoseconds. Continuous variation of frequency of the waveform generated is possible by changing a single parameter and it is feasible to have linear, exponential, or logarithmic modulation of frequency. It can be used as a triangle-square waveform generator and as a triangle-to-sine converter with the addition of a few components.

TL;DR: In this paper, a generalized method of solution of the problem of incompressible, unsteady, laminar boundary layer flow with the main-stream velocity of the formX(x) N(t) is developed.
Abstract: In the present paper, a generalized method of solution of the problem of incompressible, unsteady, laminar boundary layer flow with the main-stream velocity of the formX(x) N(t) is developed. In many practical problems, the external velocity potential may be given in the above separable form, from theoretical and or experimental considerations.

TL;DR: In this paper, a Static Polyphase distance relaying scheme was proposed to cope with all single line-to-ground faults and all doible-phase faults, with or without ground, by the phase-comparison of line-neutral compensated fault point voltages.
Abstract: The paper describes a Static Polyphase distance relaying scheme responding correctly to all Single line-to-ground faults and all doible-phase faults, with or without ground, by the phase-comparison of line-to-neutral compensated fault point voltages. It has been shown that if any two, out of the three, phase voltages at the fault point derived at the relaying point, are fed to a 90°phase comparator, then such a polyphase distance relay will operate correctly for all types of faults, except in one case of single line-to-ground fault, in one case of double phase-to-ground fault, and also in case of three-phase fault. To cater for all types of faults, a scheme has been proposed by the authors, which utilises four 90°transient free phase comparators based on block average phase-comparison principle. Out of these four comparators one is meant for catering three-phase fault and the remaining ng three respond correctly for all single line-o- ground and all double- phase faults, with or without ground. The outputs from the four units, are fed to a logic 'OR' gate which initiates tripping. Theoretical performance ormance characteristics of this relaying scheme during different types of faults have been explained by a generalised theory of 2-input phase comparator. Experimental verification on a laboratory model shows that the scheme is feasible and may be adopted in practice.

Abstract: Expressions for the propagation constants in the electrically asymmetric pyrolytic graphite are derived. of the four possible modes of propagation, three attenuate heavily and the fourth can propagate to practical distances (∼ 1 mm). Material having such propagation characteristics has been found to be highly suitable for mode filtering.

TL;DR: In this article, the problem of torsional vibration of a finite circular cylinder of non-homogeneous material has been considered and the lateral surface of the cylinder is assumed to be free from shearing stress.
Abstract: In the present note, the problem of torsional vibration of a finite circular cylinder of non-homogeneous material has been considered. The lateral surface of the cylinder is assumed to be free from shearing stress. One end of the cylinder is taken to be fixed while a circular region on the other end which is not fixed is acted over by a periodic shearing force.
