TL;DR: The behavioral hypothesis for the modeling and quantification is offered in terms of varied and yet connected classes of viewers are studied and the usefulness of the viewer categorization is illustrated.
Abstract: All the viewers of an online video do not watch a video at the same time. Consequently, on the basis of the behavioral measure of an individual who is moderately watching the videos earlier than others, viewers have been classified into viewer categories. Viewers’ categorization is much needed and has to be developed as viewers can lend a hand in targeting prospects for an online video and predict the continued sharing of the video. As per internet market literature, understanding and predicting view counts has not only resulted in generation of more traffic but has also acted as popularity metric for videos. Thereby, in the present work, based on analogy with a marketing science model we have studied the behavioral hypothesis for the modeling and quantification is offered in terms of varied and yet connected classes of viewers. With view count data on four YouTube videos, we have examined the diffusion of these videos over the time and illustrated the usefulness of the viewer categorization.

TL;DR: It is studied that an attack on the rank property with legitimate IP can degrade the network performance in the aspect of the delivery ratio and end-to-end delay and this can be further degraded if node's IP gets spoofed by the attacker node.
Abstract: The routing protocol — RPL for low power and lossy networks is the fundamental routing convention of 6LoWPAN The introduction of rank idea in RPL serves numerous intentions, including path optimization, prevention of loops, and managing control overhead Since the RPL is currently used as the main routing protocol, for large scale low-power and lossy networks, the concept of “Rank” can lead to a vulnerable performance due to the internal threats in RPL based networks It is studied that an attack on the rank property with legitimate IP can degrade the network performance in the aspect of the delivery ratio and end-to-end delay And this can be further degraded if node's IP gets spoofed by the attacker node This work discuss the impact of rank attack when the attack is launched by the node having a spoofed IP address Performance is measured in terms of packet delivery ratio and end-to-end delay of packets The observations show that the Rank attack with spoofed IP has more impact on the degradation of delivery ratio

TL;DR: This study aims at identifying the dimensions of website attributes that represent intentions of consumers for visiting product and brand websites and examines the relationship between various website attributes, with respect to the function performed by the attribute.
Abstract: The internet plays two important roles in marketing-influencing consumer behavior and harnessing consumer intelligence. While its vital for organizations to evaluate consumer intentions and provide consumers the necessary information they are looking for, equally important is the need for collecting consumer data by studying the consumer behavioral patterns on the internet and subsequently nurturing long term relationships with consumers. This study aims at identifying the dimensions of website attributes that represent intentions of consumers for visiting product and brand websites and examines the relationship between various website attributes, with respect to the function performed by the attribute. The methods on how the results were obtained and used will be explored further in this article. This research will be further used for analyzing website attributes with respect to Web Traffic, Website Reputation, Alexa Reach & Readability.

TL;DR: This survey explains the main techniques known in the field of Statistical based and Wavelet based anomaly detection approaches and focuses on the role of data traffic visualization tools in network traffic anomaly detection.
Abstract: Network Anomaly Detection covers wide area of research. Current best practices for identifying and diagnosing traffic anomalies consist of visualizing traffic from different perspectives and identifying anomalies from prior experience. Different tools have been developed to automatically generate alerts to failures, but to automate the anomaly identification process remains a challenge. Recently, Signal Processing techniques have found applications in Network Intrusion Detection System because of their ability in detecting novel intrusions and attacks, which cannot be achieved by signature-based detection systems. Visualization techniques are ways of creating and handling graphical representations of data. This survey explains the main techniques known in the field of Statistical based and Wavelet based anomaly detection approaches and focuses on the role of data traffic visualization tools in network traffic anomaly detection.
