01 Jan 2019TL;DR: Voting classifier, a type of ensemble learning to calculate the accuracy of different combinations of classifiers is used, and results show that use of voting classifier produces more accurate prediction than individual classifier.
Abstract: In our daily life, we use email and SMS many times to communicate to each other, but due to the increase of spam email and SMS, it becomes a headache for both the sender and receiver. We need spam detection tool to detect the spam, and there are many spam detection tools available in the market but they are not up to the mark because they only emphasize on individual classifier or only one or two combination of classifier. In our research, we present different combinations of four different classifiers, namely “Gaussian Naive Bayes”, “Multinomial Naive Bayes”, “Bernoulli Naive Bayes”, and “Decision Tree”. We have used voting classifier, a type of ensemble learning to calculate the accuracy of different combinations of classifiers. Results show that use of voting classifier produces more accurate prediction than individual classifier. We had also created an android application to serve the purpose. The mobile application works on client–server principle. Basically, the mobile application acts as a client which sends the data clicked by a user from mobile to server. At the server, there is machine learning script which classifies the received data and sends the prediction back to the client.

TL;DR: A detailed survey of existing audio watermarking techniques based on the different domains in which secret data is embedded along with the perceptual quality measures, applications and requirements is presented.
Abstract: Revolution in digital multimedia has posted a number of problems related to the ownership of the multimedia & its authentication. The need for copy right protection has given an opportunity for the evolution of watermarking techniques. Digital watermarking is usually used as a tool or as a system which embeds the owner information on to the multimedia content such that whenever there is a dispute, the ownership can be determined. Primarily it is used for content protection, content authentication, content management and temper detection. In this paper we present detailed survey of existing audio watermarking techniques based on the different domains in which secret data is embedded along with the perceptual quality measures, applications and requirements. Future objectives are also discussed.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors identify the main factors that lead to retention, compare these dimensions across various demographic characteristics and develop a regression model to find out the contribution of the factors to the long term sustenance of employees in a BPO.
Abstract: Purpose – Business process outsourcing (BPO) industry in India is progressing with an unparalleled velocity. Although, much research has taken place time and again elaborating on attrition, which is a menace to this industry, not much of work has been done on retention. The present study aims to explore the dimensions of retention in a comprehensive manner. The paper identifies the main factors that lead to retention, compares these dimensions across various demographic characteristics and develops a regression model to find out the contribution of the factors to the long term sustenance of employees in a BPO. Design/methodology/approach – A questionnaire was completed by 500 BPO employees located in the National Capital region of India. It measured their perception towards the importance of factors that are responsible for their sustenance in the organization. Data was analyzed using tests like factor analysis, descriptive stats, correlation and regression. Findings – Four major dimensions of retention w...

01 Feb 2015TL;DR: A 16-bit Square Root Carry-Select Adder (SQRT CSA) is implemented and analyzed in this paper to reduce area and power dissipation as compared to that of conventional CSA.
Abstract: A 16-bit Square Root Carry-Select Adder (SQRT CSA) is implemented and analyzed in this paper. The SQRT CSA is an architecture level modification to reduce area and power dissipation as compared to that of conventional CSA. Conventional CSA with Cin=1 block is replaced with binary-to-excess-1 converter (BEC) in the modified SQRT CSA structure. The architecture of 16-bit CSA is configured into five different stages with progressivley increasing data size. In order to realize 16-bit CSA, the basic building blocks, e.g., XOR gate, AND gate, 2:1 Mux, half adder (HA) and full adder (FA) are implemented using CMOS transmission gate (CMOS TG). The ripple carry adder (RCA) and binary-to-excess converter (BEC) of different bit sizes are also implemented. Transistor level schematics are drawn using Mentor Graphics Design Architect and simulations are carried out using Eldo with TSMC 0.35μm CMOS technology and supply voltage of 3.3 V.
