TL;DR: Results of DPPH assay indicated that ME system preserved the long term antioxidative potential of P60 and caffeine, and the cytotoxicity of the optimized formulation on Vero cell line by MTT assay was found to be nontoxic to mammalian cells.
Abstract: Green tea catechins and caffeine have exhibited antibacterial activity; however, their use is limited by lack of stability and effective delivery systems. Polyphenon 60 (P60) and caffeine were encapsulated in a single microemulsion (ME) formulation with an objective to lower the minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) of the individual agents against selected pathogens (S. epidermidis and E. coli). Combination of two natural compounds would advocate two different mechanisms on the bacterial growth thereby providing for better antibacterial activity. Thermodynamically stable ME was developed and characterized with an average particle size of 17.58 nm, further confirmed by TEM analysis. Antibacterial studies included chequerboard microdilution assay to determine the MIC and fractional inhibitory concentration (FIC) of both the natural compounds individually and in combination. MIC and FIC results indicated that the combination of the above two natural compounds was proficient in lowering the MICs of individual agents. Results of DPPH assay indicated that ME system preserved the long term antioxidative potential of P60 and caffeine. The cytotoxicity of the optimized formulation on Vero cell line by MTT assay was found to be nontoxic to mammalian cells.

TL;DR: In this paper, the linear and nonlinear onset of convection in a viscoelastic nanofluid saturated densely packed horizontal rotating porous layer heated from below and cooled from above is investigated by considering the Oldroyd-B type fluid.
Abstract: The linear and nonlinear onset of convection in a viscoelastic nanofluid saturated densely packed horizontal rotating porous layer heated from below and cooled from above is investigated by considering the Oldroyd-B type fluid. The Brinkman model is used to simulate conservation of momentum in the porous medium. The temperature of the three phases—porous matrix, fluid, and nanoparticles— is considered to be under local thermal non-equilibrium, that is, the three phases have there own temperature equations. Linear stability analysis is performed using a one-term Galerkin scheme, while a minimal representation of the truncated Fourier series, involving only two terms, has been utilized for nonlinear analysis. The feasible range of new dimensionless parameters has been predicted using available experimental range of thermo-physical properties of alumina and ethylene-glycol. Obtained results have been presented graphically and discussed in detail.

TL;DR: A detailed study on the interplay between the dielectric, magneto-dielectric and transport properties in ceramic samples is presented in this paper, which reveals anomalies in the proximity of Neel temperature, indicating small magnetoelectric coupling, which was confirmed through capacitance versus magnetic field measurements.
Abstract: To date, many efforts are underway on single-phase multiferroic material to obtain a compound with strong magneto-dielectric coupling, improved dielectric properties and insulation behavior for their practical applications. In this work, high-quality powders of the (1 − x)BiFeO3(BFO)–(x)Ba0.7Sr0.3TiO3(BST) solid solutions were obtained by simple sol–gel assisted route. A detailed study on the interplay between the dielectric, magneto-dielectric and transport properties in ceramic samples is presented. Dielectric analysis reveals anomalies in the proximity of Neel temperature, indicating small magneto-electric coupling, which was confirmed through capacitance versus magnetic field measurements. Analysis of dc electrical response indicates no signature of Poole Frenkel (PF) and Schottky emission (SE) mechanism, but a dominating space charge-limited conduction (SLCS) mechanism was found in the studied samples. It is demonstrated a significant decrease of the current density with the increase of the BST concentration, suppressing the oxygen vacancies presence leading to an oxidation states stabilization of the Fe ions with doping. The results of the ac conductivity analysis suggest a small-polarons hopping mechanism at low-temperature region followed by ionized oxygen vacancies transport in the high-temperature region.

TL;DR: The idea is to develop a Bank Locker Security system that permits the manager to see the occurrences from an isolated area and catch the frame depending on its advantage.
Abstract: With the contemporary amelioration of web and diversification of systems administration, organizing is capacitated on regular gizmos through the Internet of Things (IoT). Over the most recent few years, IoT is expeditiously flourishing over the globe. The idea is to develop a Bank Locker Security system that permits the manager to see the occurrences from an isolated area and catch the frame depending on its advantage. This will be assimilated by planning site pages, connecting them with the database, picture catching by raspberry pi, face acknowledgment, face discovery, structuring of the application and permitting/denying the client entry.

TL;DR: In this paper, the solid solubility limit between barium titanate, BaTiO3 and lanthanum chromite, LaCrO3 has been investigated at different frequencies in the temperature range 100-550 K.
Abstract: An attempt has been made to investigate the solid solubility limit between barium titanate, BaTiO3 and lanthanum chromite, LaCrO3. Compositions with x ≤ 0.15 have shown solid solution formation in the system Ba1−xLaxTi1−xCrxO3. Compositions with 0.01 and 0.05 are found to have a tetragonal structure, whereas those with x = 0.10 and 0.15 are found to have a cubic structure at room temperature. Dielectric measurements have been carried out at different frequencies in the temperature range 100–550 K. Plots of er versus temperature for composition with x = 0.01 show dielectric anomalies at 376 K (TC-T) and 275 (TT-O) where TC-T and TT-O denote the temperature for cubic to tetragonal and tetragonal to orthorhombic transition. Dielectric anomaly corresponding to the ferroelectric to paraelectric transition has been found to shift to lower temperatures with increasing concentration of lanthanum and chromium. For compositions with x ≤ 0.05, TC has been found to be frequency independent while for x = 0.10 and 0.15, TC has been found to be frequency dependent in a manner similar to relaxor ferroelectrics.
