TL;DR: In this paper, the structural phase transitions have been correlated with piezoelectric properties, which is attributed to the coexistence of rhombohedral and tetragonal phases and is confirmed by Raman spectroscopy.
Abstract: Lead free piezoelectrics [1-x{(Bi0.96La0.04)0.5Na0.5TiO3}−x(Ba0.90Ca0.10TiO3)] (BLNT-BCT) with compositions x ≤ 0.20 have been synthesized by a semi-wet route and the compositions around the MPB region have been systematically investigated using x-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy. X-ray diffraction analysis confirms phase formation without any traces of secondary phases. Rietveld refinement of x-ray diffraction data revealed different structural symmetry for a different range of compositions viz., (i) rhombohedral (R3c) [x ≤ 0.08] (ii) rhombohedral (R3c) + tetragonal (P4mm) (MPB) [0.10 ≤ x ≤ 0.15] (iii) tetragonal (P4mm) [0.15 < x ≤ 0.20], which is confirmed by Raman spectroscopy. The structural phase transitions have been correlated with piezoelectric properties and the composition with x = 0.12 depicts better piezoelectric properties amongst studied compositions, which is attributed to the coexistence of rhombohedral and tetragonal phases.

TL;DR: This paper introduces two novel circuits of first-order universal filter that comprise single multiple outputs dual-X current conveyor transconductance amplifier and one grounded capacitor only that are suitable to modern IC technology and offer the feature of ease of cascadability.
Abstract: This paper introduces two novel circuits of first-order universal filter that comprise single multiple outputs dual-X current conveyor transconductance amplifier and one grounded capacitor only. The first circuit is of current-mode type, and second is of transadmittance-mode type. Both the circuits are suitable to modern IC technology and offer the feature of ease of cascadability. The proposed circuits do not need any passive component matching constraints. Moreover, the pole frequency of both the circuits is electronically tunable. The transadmittance-mode type circuit also provides an interesting feature of electronic and independent tuning of amplitudes of output currents without affecting the pole frequency. To check the applicability of the proposed circuit, a dual-mode multiphase oscillator is also derived from the proposed transadmittance-mode type filter. It provides two quadrature voltage outputs and four quadrature current outputs simultaneously. The oscillation frequency and condition of oscillation are orthogonally and electronically controllable. The non-ideal and parasitic analyses of all the proposed circuits are investigated, and HSPICE simulation results are depicted to confirm the proposed theory. Furthermore, transadmittance-mode type first-order universal filter is experimentally verified using commercially available ICs.

TL;DR: A non-intrusive approach for implementing a driver's drowsiness alert system which would detect and monitor the yawning and sleepiness of the driver and requires the inclusion of face recognition implementation so that monitoring can be done individually for every driver.
Abstract: One of the most prevailing problems across the globe nowadays is the booming number of road accidents. Improper and inattentive driving is one of the major cause of road accidents. Driver's drowsiness or lack of concentration is considered as a dominant reason for such mishaps. Research in the field of driver drowsiness monitoring may help to reduce the accidents. This paper therefore proposes a non-intrusive approach for implementing a driver's drowsiness alert system which would detect and monitor the yawning and sleepiness of the driver. The system uses Histogram Oriented Gradient (HOG) feature descriptor for face detection and facial points recognition. Then SVM is used to check whether detected object is face or non-face. It further monitors the Eye Aspect Ratio (EAR) and Mouth Aspect Ratio (MAR) of the driver up to a fixed number of frames to check the sleepiness and yawning. Since the drowsiness or tiredness of the driver is also based on the number of hours he or she has been driving, an additional feature of varying the threshold frames for eyes and mouth is included. This makes the system more sensitive towards drowsiness detection. Also, this requires the inclusion of face recognition implementation so that monitoring can be done individually for every driver. Our experimental results shows that our proposed framework perform well.

TL;DR: It is shown that all the channels used in the existing protocols of BCST can be obtained using the proposed method and that all these quantum channels are also suitable for controlled bidirectional remote state preparation.
Abstract: Recently, a large number of protocols for bidirectional controlled state teleportation (BCST) have been proposed using n-qubit entangled states ($$n\in \{5,6,7\}$$n?{5,6,7}) as quantum channel. Here, we propose a general method of selecting multiqubit $$(n>4)$$(n>4) quantum channels suitable for BCST and show that all the channels used in the existing protocols of BCST can be obtained using the proposed method. Further, it is shown that the quantum channels used in the existing protocols of BCST form only a negligibly small subset of the set of all the quantum channels that can be constructed using the proposed method to implement BCST. It is also noted that all these quantum channels are also suitable for controlled bidirectional remote state preparation. Following the same logic, methods for selecting quantum channels for other controlled quantum communication tasks, such as controlled bidirectional joint remote state preparation and controlled quantum dialogue, are also provided.
