TL;DR: Light is thrown on the dental caries disease, its sign and symptoms, treatment, prevention and risk factors associated with it, as well as some patents provided that summarizes the recent technical advancements taken place in this area.
Abstract: Dental caries called as tooth decay is basically a disease in which bacterial processes changes carbohydrate to acid. This acid then dematerializes the hard tooth structure. They are produced when demineralization amount exceeds the remineralization amount. Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacillus are the bacteria responsible for the dental caries. This article throws light on the dental caries disease, its sign and symptoms, treatment, prevention and risk factors associated with it. A review of some patents on dental caries is also provided that summarizes the recent technical advancements taken place in this area.

TL;DR: This study developed formulations that can control drug release up to 24 hours and evaluated different formulation factors, Ethocel 10 FP and triethyl citrate were selected for further studies using hydrochlorothiazide as a model drug.
Abstract: In situ forming intragastric controlled-release formulation is a new technology in the field of oral controlled-release delivery systems. The objective of this study was to develop formulations that can control drug release up to 24 hours. In addition, a combination of appropriate polymers and solvents was selected that could form a drug loaded gel at the process temperature of 60-70 °C, which gel could turn into a rigid mass upon exposure to dissolution fluid at body temperature. The drug release mechanism from this rigid mass was controlled by different formulation factors such as different polymer grades, polymer concentrations, hydrophobicity or hydrophilicity of solvents, different drug loadings, and physicochemical properties of additional excipients. After evaluating different formulation factors, Ethocel 10 FP and triethyl citrate were selected for further studies using hydrochlorothiazide as a model drug. Polynomial correlation between viscosity of the blank gel and drug release profile was also obtained.

TL;DR: The results suggested that the ethanolic extract of leaves of Cinnamomum tamala can be used in treatment of dalayed wound healing in diabetic rats.
Abstract: Objective: Diabetes is a chronic hyperglycemic metabolic disorder; leads to generates many complications including delay in wound healing after any injury. These non healing wound ends upto organ or limb salvage. The available modern allopathic medications are not able to full control over these complications. There are several evidences that complication associated with diabetes can easily be treated by using herbal or folklore medicines. The leaves of Cinnamomum tamala used by traditional peoples in the treatment of hyperlipidemia, diabetes, and associated wound healing problems. The aim of our study was to find the active extract from various extracts of C. tamala leaves responcible for wound healing activity in diabetic rats. Methods: The wistar albino rats were made diabetic by single i.p. injection of streptozotocin (60 mg/kg). The excision, incision and dead space wound were created on back side of rats. The ethanolic extract of C. tamala leaves of ethanolic extract of leaves of Cinnamomum tamala was applied topically in excision wound model while in incision and dead space wound model the ethanolic extract of C. tamala leaves (100 mg/kg) was give orally for 16 days. Results: In the excision wound model the wound area and day of epithelization both were significantly decreased in ethanolic extract of C. tamala leaves treated rats. In incision wound model the significantly higher tensile strength was observed in rats treaded orally with ethanolic extract treated. There were significant increase in weight of wet & dry granulation tissue with increased amount of hydroxyproline, collagen and elastin was observed in treated rats by ethanolic extract of C. tamala leaves Conclusion: The results suggested that the ethanolic extract of leaves of Cinnamomum tamala can be used in treatment of dalayed wound healing in diabetic rats. Key Words: Cinnamomum tamala , Collagen, Diabetes, Granulation, Hydroxyproline, Tensile strength, Wound healing

TL;DR: This paper contains the details of how one can develop the simple compiler for procedural lanaguage using Lex (Lexical Analyzer Generator) and YACC (Yet Another Compiler-Compiler).
Abstract: This paper contains the details of how one can develop the simple compiler for procedural lanaguage using Lex (Lexical Analyzer Generator) and YACC (Yet Another Compiler-Compiler) Lex tool helps write programs whose control flow is directed by instances of regular expressions in the input stream It is well suited for editor-scripts type transformations and for segmenting input in preparation for a parsing routine Lex tool source is the table of regular expressions and corresponding program fragments The table is translated to a program which reads an input stream, copying it to an output stream and partitioning the input into strings which match the given expressions On the other hand YACC tool receives input of the user grammar Starting from this grammar it generates the C source code for the parser YACC invokes Lex to scan the source code and uses the tokens returned by Lex to build a syntax tree With the help of YACC and Lex tool one can write their own compiler

TL;DR: The striking feature of proposed intelligent traffic control method is that it measures the density of traffic dynamically, and is found that proposed method is quite effective for the control of the traffic signals for controlling congestion on the road.
Abstract: This paper proposes image mosaicking technique for controlling of traffic signals. Limitation of conventional automatic traffic signal control methods is that they can detect the vehicle using sensors, whereas sensors are failed to detect the vehicle, if vehicle is out of range of infrared rays, also sensors are incapable to give response if vehicle stops due to technical problem in the range of infrared rays. This paper proposed an intelligent traffic control method using image mosaicking technique. The striking feature of proposed method is that it measures the density of traffic dynamically. The efficacy of proposed method has been evaluated, using MATLAB™ Software. It is found that proposed method is quite effective for the control of the traffic signals for controlling congestion on the road.
