TL;DR: In this article , a conventional concrete of M40 grade developed with diverse water binder ratio and fixed optimum dosage of 30% mineral admixture fly ash and GGBS with weight of cement.
Abstract: In this study conventional concrete of M40 grade developed with diverse water binder ratio and fixed optimum dosage of 30% mineral admixture fly ash and GGBS with weight of cement .Compression test has been conducted on cube samples and Rapid Chloride permeability test (RCPT) are conducted on cylindrical specimens to acknowledge durability parameter. Compression test results has been enhanced with replacement of supplementary cementitious materials and chloride ion permeability has been reduced with substitution of fly ash and GGBS .incremental of water binder ratio also reduce the permeability value however compression value increased

01 Jul 2018TL;DR: CBCT may lend comparatively discriminative dimensions of the periodontal defect similar to that of intrasurgical measurements, and a significant difference was noted in the CBCT measurements from the CEJ to BD and the distance from the crest of bone to the deepest point of the defect when compared with the intras surgical measurements.
Abstract: Objective: The objective of this study was to analyze the correlation between cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) measurements and intrasurgical measurements of intrabony periodontal defects. Materials and Methods: Thirty-two patients with intrabony defects, who underwent periodontal therapy and were advised for surgical therapy, were included in this study. Diagnostic images were obtained by periapical radiographs and CBCT before the surgical procedure. The distance from the cementoenamel junction to the base of the periodontal defect (CEJ–BD), the distance from the crest of bone to the deepest point of the defect, and mesiodistal (M-D) width of the periodontal defect were measured on CBCT and periapical radiographs during the surgical procedure. The faciolingual width of the defect was only measured on CBCT images during the surgical procedure. The linear measurements obtained during the surgical therapy were compared with that obtained by intraoral radiographs and CBCT imaging. Results: The M-D width of the defect measured during the surgical procedure was similar to that measured on the periapical radiograph. The distance of CEJ to BD and the distance from the crest of bone to the deepest point of the defect measured on the periapical radiographs were less than that of intrasurgical measurements. No significant difference was noted regarding the CBCT measurements of the faciolingual width and M-D width of the defect when compared with the measurements obtained during the surgical procedures. A significant difference was noted in the CBCT measurements from the CEJ to BD and the distance from the crest of bone to the deepest point of the defect when compared with the intrasurgical measurements. Conclusion: CBCT may lend comparatively discriminative dimensions of the periodontal defect similar to that of intrasurgical measurements.

01 Nov 2015TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of gate length variation on the DC parameters of Ino7Gao3As/inAs/InAs/INo 7Gao 3As composite channel HEMT using 2D Sentaurus TCAD simulation Hydrodynamic model is used for the simulation.
Abstract: In this paper we have analyzed the effect of gate length variation on the DC parameters of Ino7Gao3As/InAs/Ino7Gao3As composite channel HEMT using 2D Sentaurus TCAD simulation Hydrodynamic model is used for the simulation The simulation model is calibrated with the previously published experimentally Extensive device simulation of major device performance metrics such as drain induced barrier lowering, subthreshold slope, delay, threshold voltage, ON current to OFF current ratio and energy delay product have been done for wide range of gate length As gate length is scaled the heterostructure devices using composite channel, with high-k dielectric provides higher ON current, lower delay and energy delay product With gate length scaling there is a moderate increase in short channel effects such as DIBL, and SS The result indicates the need to improve the Ion/Ioff ratio, Vt and SS as these are deviating slightly from the desired results The proposed composite channel HEMT shows excellent promise as one of the candidates for future high speed applications

TL;DR: A case of oral submucous fibrosis occurring in a 46 year old man is presented, which results in difficulty in laryngoscopy and intubations of the trachea.
Abstract: Oral submucous fibrosis (OSMF) is a pre-malignant lesion of the buccal mucosa caused by chewing betel quid. It results in the progressive inability to open the mouth. Patients with OSMF require anesthesia for trismus correction, resection and reconstructive surgery for coexisting oral malignancies or other unrelated surgeries. OSMF causes trismus, which results in difficulty in laryngoscopy and intubations of the trachea. A case of oral submucous fibrosis occurring in a 46 year old man is presented.

09 Sep 2020TL;DR: Drug therapy include antifibrotic, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidants, homemade remedies including turmeric and tulsi .
Abstract: Oral submucous fibrosis (OSMF) is a premalignant condition caused by betel chewing. OSMF is a premalignant condition that can lead to oral cancer. A risk that is further increased by concomitant tobacco consumption. OSMF is a diagnosis based on clinical symptoms and confirmation by histopathology. Major constituents of betel quid are arecoline from betel nuts and copper, which are responsible for fibroblast dysfunction and fibrotic band formation. Drug therapy include antifibrotic, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidants, homemade remedies including turmeric and tulsi . Prevention is most important in case of OSMF , because severe cases of OSMF are irreversible.
