TL;DR: This study surveys the increasing research field of performance measurement by making use of a bibliometric literature analysis and identifies two approaches, namely Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) as the most important methods to evaluate the efficiency of individual and organizational performance.

TL;DR: Three studies use location and communication sensors to model individual behaviors and symptoms, long-term health outcomes, and the diffusion of opinions in a community because the underlying sensing technologies are now commonplace and readily available.
Abstract: Mobile phones are a pervasive platform for opportunistic sensing of behaviors and opinions. Three studies use location and communication sensors to model individual behaviors and symptoms, long-term health outcomes, and the diffusion of opinions in a community. These three analyses illustrate how mobile phones can unobtrusively monitor rich social interactions, because the underlying sensing technologies are now commonplace and readily available.

TL;DR: Data indicate the presence of different types of lipid rafts in the erythrocyte membrane with distinct fates after Ca(++) entry, and synexin, which is known to be vital to the process of membrane fusion, is suggested to be a key component in theprocess of vesicle release from ERYthrocytes.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explore the relationship among two personality traits (extraversion and openness), hedonic value, brand affect and loyalty, arguing that individual differences account for differences in the values sought by the consumer and in the formation of brand affect.
Abstract: Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship among two personality traits (extraversion and openness), hedonic value, brand affect and loyalty. It argues that individual differences account for differences in the values sought by the consumer and in the formation of brand affect and loyalty.Design/methodology/approach – Two samples are drawn (running shoes and mobile phone users) and the effect of personality traits on the other constructs have been tested using the Partial Least Squares approach (PLS) to structural equation modeling.Findings – It was found that extraversion and openness are positively related to hedonic product value and that the personality traits directly (openness) and indirectly (extraversion, via hedonic value) influence brand affect which in turn drives attitudinal and purchase loyalty.Research limitations/implications – The paper introduces personality as determinants of perceived value and brand affect. Future studies should aim at including the other person...
