TL;DR: The primary structure of trypsin inhibitor I presented shows approximately 80% sequence homology with chymotrypsin inhibitors isolated from the venom of the same snake, and nearly 50% homologies with bovine basic pancreatic tryps in inhibitor.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, the effective nucleon-nucleon potential is presented in the model with two three-quark clusters, and the potential is nonlocal and nonadiabatic, which strongly depends on the definition of the effective potential and on the choice of the subspace used in the calculation.

TL;DR: An on-line computer supported tactile sensor that can recognize complex industrial objects, identify a seam location, and track a three-dimensional seam trajectory for an arc welding robot is described.
Abstract: This paper describes an on-line computer supported tactile sensor that can recognize complex industrial objects, identify a seam location, and track a three-dimensional seam trajectory for an arc welding robot. A one finger tactile sensor with two degrees of freedom is used. The supporting microcomputer system organizes and reduces the useful sensor data from digitized tactile information to a compact symbolic representation which is matched to a knowledge network. A beam search algorithm is used. The hierarchical organization provides that simple features are first detected on the object, and more complex features are examined later. Pruning of the search tree is based on a likelihood function.

TL;DR: In this paper, the results of a systematic study of the system XeF 6 PbF 2 were extended to the case where three new compounds, 4XeF + 5 ion in its complexes with monomeric anions and its Raman spectra in the complexes with polymeric anions, were isolated.

TL;DR: The new and convenient method for the separation, isolation and characterization of the N-ciano-N′-methyl-N″-(2-/(5-methylimidazol-4-yl)methylthio/ethyl) guanidine and its biotransformation and degradation products was developed.
Abstract: The new and convenient method for the separation, isolation and characterization of theN-ciano-N′-methyl-N″-(2-/(5-methylimidazol-4-yl)methylthio/ethyl) guanidine and its biotransformation and degradation products was developed. Mass spectra obtained with the FAB (Fast Atom Bombardment) method are described. This method proved to be very successful for the analysis and characterization of studied compounds.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, the photochemical reactions between xenon and fluorine in gas-gas and solid- liquid systems were systematically investigated and the optimal reaction conditions for the synthesized photochemical synthesizes of xenon difluoride and xenon tetrafluorides were determined.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: The methodology is based on generalization of the Hartson-Hix single-user development methodology and much attention is given to representation techniques and examples of their use in a real world computer supported multimedia desktop conferencing environment.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: The mass spectral behavior of transition metal chelates with 2-hydroxynaphthalene-1-azo-2′-pyridine N-oxide as ligand was shown and described in this paper.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: Starting compositions in the CaCl2-CaO-UO3 system were determined, which yielded the Ca uranate phases α-Ca3UO6 and Ca2UO5.

TL;DR: Multigroup constants for Cd(nat), Ag-107, Ag-109 and In-115 had been calculated using FEDGROUP-C package were inserted into the WIMS library where they were used in lattice cell calculations by S-WIMS code.
Abstract: Multigroup constants for Cd(nat), Ag-107, Ag-109 and In-115 had been calculated using FEDGROUP-C package. Cross-section data were retrieved from ENDF/B IV and V files. Multigroup constants were inserted into the WIMS library where they were used in lattice cell calculations by S-WIMS code. Control rod worths were estimated and compared against the project specifications and experimental results showing good agreement with experiments.

TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of backing material on the edge spread function in imaging with In converters was studied and the photographic density intensifying factors were assessed as a function of backing materials, energy of beta radiation, screen type and thickness, radiographic film parameters and irradiation film exposure geometry.
Abstract: The beta-rays backdiffused from cassette backing material contribute significantly to the neutron radio-graphic image of beta emitting screens used in transfer neutron radiography. The photographic density intensifying factors were assessed as a function of backing material, energy of beta radiation, screen type and thickness, radiographic film parameters and irradiation film exposure geometry. The influence of backing material on the Edge Spread Function in imaging with In converters was studied.

TL;DR: In this paper, the sorption of Ce3+ from hydrochloric acid and its chromatography on a column filled with Dowex 50 X 8 was studied and the break-through volumes and elution volumes, together with the sarsption profile and band broadening were determined at different temperatures and are discussed.
Abstract: The sorption of Ce3+ from hydrochloric acid and its chromatography on a column filled with Dowex 50 X8 was studied. The break-through volumes and elution volumes, together with the sorption profile and band broadening were determined at different temperatures and are discussed. The Chromatographic results are interpreted in terms of cerium complex formation.
