Abstract: We demonstrate evident Doppler splitting in the profiles of many narrow diffuse interstellar bands (DIBs). Their components are compared with those of atomic and molecular lines of interstellar origin. It is shown that it is likely that the species that shares both wavelength shifts and strength ratios of the Doppler components seen in the DIB profiles is the CH radical. Because of this profile resemblance, it is recommended that CH lines can be used to shift spectra to the rest velocity frame for interstellar features, especially to determine the DIB rest wavelengths on the basis of the CH line at 4300.3132 A in the spectrum of HD 147889. Our results strongly support a molecular origin of diffuse bands.

Abstract: Mala aktywnośc fizyczna mlodego pokolenia przeklada sie w latach nastepnych na problemy duzej cześci spoleczenstwa a wiec rowniez na zwiekszenie wydatkow budzetowych na ochrone zdrowia. Dlatego tez oprocz tworzenia programow szkolnych i innych poprawiających kondycje fizyczną nalezy prezentowac wzorce z pośrod roznych dyscyplin sportowych uprawianych przez mlodych ludzi i wykazac ich pozytywne dzialanie pro zdrowotne. Wybrano i przebadano spirometrycznie czolowych juniorow - zawodnikow judo, oraz osoby nie trenujące w zblizonym wieku o zblizonych parametrach somatycznych. Pomimo mlodego wieku i nie zakonczonego jeszcze w pelni rozwoju osobniczego mlodych ludzi w obu badanych grupach wyniki spirometryczne judokow byly istotnie wyzsze i wykazywaly istotne zalezności z niektorymi wielkościami somatycznymi. Zaprezentowanie wybranych roznic w spirometrycznym obrazie mlodego czlowieka trenującego judo i nie trenującego moze byc wlaściwym czynnikiem motywującym do aktywności fizycznej.

Abstract: Abstract An exoskeleton is defined as a distinctive kind of robot to be worn as an overall or frame, effectively supporting, or in some cases substituting for, the user’s own movements. In this paper a new three-dimensional (3D) printed bydgostian hand exoskeleton is introduced and biomedically characterized. The proposed concept is promising, and the described approach combining biomechanical factors and 3D modeling driven by detailed hand exoskeleton patterns may constitute a key future method of ergonomic hand exoskeleton design and validation prior to manufacturing. Despite the aforementioned approach, we should be aware that hand exoskeleton constitutes hand support and rehabilitation robot system developing with the user; thus, certain coordination and continuity of the “hardware” part of the whole system and the training paradigm are essential for therapy efficacy.

Abstract: Thin poly(o-methoxyaniline) (POMA) films have been formed by thermovacuum deposition in the temperature range of 350–450 °C and at a pressure of 5 × 10−5 Torr The structure properties of vacuum deposited POMA films according to FTIR and UV–VIS spectra are similar to those observed for the emeraldine form of polyaniline Current–voltage characteristics (I–V) of sandwichtype device ITO/POMA/A1 possess rectifying properties with the ideality factor ≈4 at room temperature On the basis of the dependence of conductivity on frequency in the frequency range of 10 Hz to 1 MHz, it is shown that the Pollack–Pohl current flow hopping mechanism dominates in a polymer film; such mechanism is typical of non-ordered systems
