TL;DR: In this paper, the authors identify contact transformations which linearize the given equations in the Riccati and Abel chains of nonlinear scalar and coupled ODEs to the same order.
Abstract: We identify contact transformations which linearize the given equations in the Riccati and Abel chains of nonlinear scalar and coupled ordinary differential equations to the same order. The identified contact transformations are not of Cole-Hopf type and are \emph {new} to the literature. The linearization of Abel chain of equations is also demonstrated explicitly for the first time. The contact transformations can be utilized to derive dynamical symmetries of the associated nonlinear ODEs. The wider applicability of identifying this type of contact transformations and the method of deriving dynamical symmetries by using them is illustrated through two dimensional generalizations of the Riccati and Abel chains as well.

29 Jul 2010TL;DR: This manuscript shows how the Leukemia affected cells can be detected by using Discriminative Canonical Correlations technique coupled with Iterated Function Systems.
Abstract: Discriminative Canonical Correlations (DCC) technique is used to compare sets of images for Object Recognition. Canonical Correlations can be thought of as the angles between two d-dimensional subspaces, have recently attracted attention for image set matching. This technology is coupled with Iterated Function System (IFS) for images. This algorithm holds good for the fractal images to be compressed in a better way for the existing image set database. In this manuscript, how the Leukemia affected cells can be detected by using Discriminative Canonical Correlations technique coupled with Iterated Function Systems.

TL;DR: The multi-application antenna is proposed for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Wi-max, and the design was designed and simulated by ADS software, allowing engineer to characterize and RF design with common tool.
Abstract: The multi-application antenna is proposed for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Wi-max. The design is used for three different frequencies 2.45, 5 and 7 GHz. As a substrate material RT_Duroid 6006 is used. Antenna is designed by placing two slots in rectangular patch, so three dipoles are obtained. The simulation is done for this antenna by changing the length and width of three dipoles. The results shows that rectangular patch antenna with two slots offers return loss ≤10 dB with the input feed 50 Ω. The proposed antenna can be used in indoor distributed antenna systems, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Wi-max. This patch antenna was designed and simulated by ADS software. ADS supports of the design process—Engineer can characterize schematic capture, frequency and time-domain simulation, layout, and electromagnetic field simulation, allow engineer to characterize and RF design with common tool.

TL;DR: The paper aims to enhance the controllability of a standalone cascade control system with Internet architecture and promote the system to be accessible by remote students.
Abstract: The paper aims to enhance the controllability of a standalone cascade control system with Internet architecture and promote the system to be accessible by remote students. The user interactive web page is developed by using platform independent ASP.NET language and enabled with both monitoring and controlling functionalities. The Internet transmission time delays that are associated with both feed-forward and feedback channels are compensated by using model predictive controller. The performance of cascade control system with and without compensation is validated by measuring indices, such as rise time, peak time and settling time, and also integral square error and integral absolute error. Access privileges among web page users have been added to ensure simultaneous operations as well as security. The cascade control system is an engineering laboratory experiment interfaced with a dedicated computer by using MODBUS protocol and it is made available to the remote students. The user perception analysis is ...

TL;DR: In this article, a generic class of two-dimensional nonstandard Hamiltonian systems which exhibit isochronous behaviour was identified, which is obtained by generalizing the scalar modified Emden equation (MEE) to two dimensions.
Abstract: We identify a generic class of two-dimensional nonstandard Hamiltonian systems which exhibit isochronous behaviour. This class of systems belongs to the two-dimensional mixed Lienard-type equations and is obtained by generalizing the scalar modified Emden equation (MEE) to two dimensions. We show that the generalized class of equations admits a Hamiltonian description and exhibits periodic and quasiperiodic oscillations for suitable choice of parameters and also PT-symmetric property.
