TL;DR: Freshwater fish Cirrhinus mrigala were exposed to lethal concentration and sublethal concentration for 1,7,14,21 days of cypermethrin to examine the enzymes activity, in functionally three different tissues namely, gill, liver and muscle, with increase in exposure time.
Abstract: Freshwater fish Cirrhinus mrigala were exposed to lethal concentration (5 μg/L) for 1,2,3,4 days and sublethal concentration (1 μg/L) for 1,7,14,21 days of cypermethrin to examine the enzymes activity, in functionally three different tissues namely, gill, liver and muscle. Activities of Aspartate aminotransferase (AAT), Alanine aminotransferase (AlAT) and Glutamate dehydrogenase (GDH) increased in all the tissues with increase in exposure time. But in sublethal concentration at 14 and 21 day, a decreasing trend was observed in all the tissues exposed to cypermethrin. At most instances, fish in lethal medium were affected more compared to sublethal concentration.

TL;DR: Improved fermentation techniques and different biotechnological strategies such as gene cloning, gene transformation, mutations are widely being used on endophytic fungi in order to increase the productivity of the taxol.
Abstract: Paclitaxel (taxol), a diterpene natural compound was first extracted from the bark of yew trees. However, the method cannot meet its increasing demand on the market due to unprecedented yew cutting, low amounts of taxol production, the laborious and slow process of taxol extraction. Recently, efforts have been made to develop alternative means of taxol production. Microbial fermentation would be a promising method in the production of taxol at industrial scale. Fungal endophytes have the capacity to produce bioactive compounds and can independently synthesize secondary metabolites similar to those made by the host plants. Optimization of the fermentation culture is one of the most important strategies in increasing taxol production by endophytic fungi supplemented with several substances including carbon sources, nitrogen sources, precursors, inducer and the metabolic bypass inhibitors. Improved fermentation techniques and different biotechnological strategies such as gene cloning, gene transformation, mutations are widely being used on endophytic fungi in order to increase the productivity of the taxol. In this review, the different strategies used to produce taxol from endophytic fungal biotechnology have been discussed.

TL;DR: In this article, a Zn-B4C composite coating was fabricated from solution containing ZnSO4, B4C nanoparticles, and a surfactant, which was optimized by Hull cell studies.
Abstract: The effect of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and N,N,N,N cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) on co-deposition of B4C nanoparticles with Zn was investigated. The Zn–B4C composite coating was fabricated from solution containing ZnSO4, B4C nanoparticles, and a surfactant. The concentration of surfactants, B4C particles and Zn salts was optimized by Hull cell studies. The cathodic polarization and cyclic voltammograms were recorded for deposition process. The structure and morphology of coating were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopic (EDS) techniques. The influence of B4C and surfactants on preferred orientation of Zn was calculated. The corrosion resistance property of Zn–B4C composite produced in the presence of surfactants was measured and compared with bare Zn deposit.
