TL;DR: This article identified five components of global football clubs' storytelling (place, playstyle, performance, personalities, and political charge) and analyzed the memorability of these factors as well as their importance in these supporters' decision to support a football club and maintain that engagement over time through a survey of 373 football supporters originating from nine countries.
Abstract: Association football (also known as simply football or soccer) is the most popular spectator sport in the world, and major football clubs are now commonly managed and studied as global brands, the consumers of which exhibit considerable levels of engagement and loyalty that challenge academic research in explaining why engagement in this apparently unrewarding, vicarious pursuit is maintained. We approach this question through the narrative aspect of football clubs’ corporate communication. Indeed, corporate narratives are known to substantiate the reputation building-efforts of corporations. Conversely, a good corporate reputation actively supports the messages created by these stories. Through in-depth, in-person interviews with 38 Football supporters, we identify five components of global football clubs’ storytelling (place, playstyle, performance, personalities, and political charge). We analyze the memorability of these factors as well as their importance in these supporters’ decision to support a football club and maintain that engagement over time, through a survey of 373 football supporters originating from nine countries. The goal of this analysis is to contribute towards building a generic, actionable model of consistent corporate narratives, that can be adapted by conventional corporations seeking to generate similar levels of engagement from their consumer-base as football clubs do from their supporters.

TL;DR: In this article, an empirical study on the drivers of innovative entrepreneurship for the tourism sector, in particular the role of the development context, was conducted using cross-country data from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) project and the Human Development Index (HDI) of the United Nations Development Programme.
Abstract: This paper is an empirical study on the drivers of innovative entrepreneurship for the tourism sector, in particular the role of the development context. Using cross-country data from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) project and the Human Development Index (HDI) of the United Nations Development Programme, this study finds evidence that innovative entrepreneurship is negatively related to human development. Although more developed societies have more resources available and higher levels of education development, the tourism entrepreneurs have lower probability of being innovative. More developed societies are established tourism destinations, and facing such high demand, it is possible that tourism entrepreneurs have lower incentives to innovate.

TL;DR: Anatomical and developmental comprehension of the duplication of the inferior vena cava is important for clinicians in planning for retroperitoneal surgery.
Abstract: Duplication of the inferior vena cava was detected in a 71-year-old Thai male cadaver with unknown cause of death. Two inferior vena cavae located on each side of the lumbar vertebrae were identified. The right inferior vena cava was formed by fusion of the right and left common iliac veins and had a normal course, while the left inferior vena cava arose from the left branch of the left external iliac vein and ascended parallel to the abdominal aorta. To our knowledge, no similar case has been previously reported. The left inferior vena cava joined the left renal vein to become the preaortic trunk before joining the right inferior vena cava. Tributaries of the inferior vena cava were observed and followed. Development of the duplication of the inferior vena cava was reviewed. Anatomical and developmental comprehension of the duplication of the inferior vena cava is important for clinicians in planning for retroperitoneal surgery.
