Abstract: The orthogonal polarization simultaneous readout technique in a hybrid-multiplexed memory using angular multiplexing and polarization multiplexing is presented Twenty holograms were hybrid multiplexed in a single LiNbO3 crystal with ten angular positions for angular multiplexing In each angular position of the holographic memory, two images with orthogonal polarization are multiplexed in the same spatial location inside the LiNbO3 via polarization multiplexing These two orthogonally polarized images can be reconstructed simultaneously with a linear polarization reading beam, but they can be separated with a polarization beam splitter, and accordingly each can be viewed independently The exposure schedule for holographic storage using the proposed hybrid-multiplexing technique is derived

Abstract: Design of a microstrip-line-feed slot-coupled cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) for circular polarization (CP) is investigated experimentally. The occurrence of the two orthogonal near-degenerate resonant modes is mainly excited by a perturbed annular slot that is, a C-shaped slot. The CP resonant frequency can be adjusted by using different slot sizes. Experimental results of the proposed C-slot coupled DRA are presented and discussed. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Abstract: In this paper, we present a quantitative sufficient condition for adiabatic approximation in PT-symmetric quantum mechanics, which yields that a state of the PT-symmetric quantum system at any time will remain approximately in the m-th eigenstate up to a multiplicative phase factor whenever it is initially in the m-th eigenstate of the Hamiltonian. In addition, we estimate the approximation errors by the distance and the fidelity between the exact solution and the adiabatic approximate solution to the time evolution equation, respectively.
